I took the opportunity to completely kick the sugar habit. I haven't had dessert since my surgery on 9/26/17. I don't know if it's a forever thing, but because of the liquid diet and all that I was off sugar anyway. I chose not to put it back in my body. It's the best choice I have ever made.

I was sleeved 9/26/17. I hit my goal weight on 6/10/18. So a little under 9 months. I blew way past my goal though and lost an additional 25 pounds. I have been maintaining my weight loss for about 6 months now. I'm a bit skinnier than I planned, but it's kind of fun. I have never been this tiny! I have hit my goal weight many times throughout the years, but keeping the weight off is very satisfying. I am so used to either being on my way up or on my way down. I have never stayed put for this long. I see diet commercials pop up saying things like "do you need to lose weight?" and I'm all "NOPE." Height: 5'9 SW: 268 GW: 170 CW:144.6

I feel great! The first few days were rough, but it got better very quickly. It's hard to get enough water and protein in so I get a little weak sometimes but I am shocked at how good I feel in regards to the surgery part of it. Incisions are healed, no pain in days! I would do it again a hundred times. I am 21 pounds down 5'8 SW 267 GW 160 CW 244.6

I had the same feeling about losing all the weight before I even came home lol. My surgery was 9/26 and I can tell you I feel like a supermodel. My body hasn't quite caught up but it's just a matter of time! Good luck with your surgery. I hope everything goes smoothly for you!
