So totally true! Photos and craft supplies would be too hard but I will try. Also it's a little "new agey" but I've kind of modified it for myself- instead of thanking the items for serving heir purpose I thank God for using them in my life and to use them to bless someone else. I also couldn't feel comfortable in a bare home- I like my things around me but so want to make sure the things I have around me are the things I love and not just clutter or junk.

    Is that Marie Kondo?
I didn't buy the book but read enough online. I did some of the things in it. I can't embrace it 100%, but I do ask if any new purchases 'spark joy' and do I have space for this purchase. There is no way I am purging all my books or my fabric!!!!

I actually wore leggings last week and didn't feel fat! Wouldn't wear them before the weight loss because I was too lumpy!

While you are looking for a doctor, see if you can find a pool to begin swimming. Apparently that is one of the best exercises for the condition.

I have been trying to revel in these as sometimes the scale may not budge and I want to keep encouraging myself. My NSV this week was having to buy new jeans because I shrank out of all my old ones, and having to get rid of my old dress shirts. I went from a 3/4x to an xl now and 22/24 to 16/17 pants. As a reward this Sunday I'm going to an amusement park with some friends. this will be the first time in years that I have gone and not been afraid of fitting on the rides. What's your NSV's? Please share your successes!

shake it up a bit. Eat 100 cal more and maybe walk more or less for a few days. I've hear shaking it up helps with a stall. I had one stall of 3 weeks and it was so frustrating. Don't worry- you'll start losing again!

Surgery is definitely a tool not the end all. I could not have lost weight without it. It is not the easy way out- it was the only way out for me.
Feeling so much healthier and better and I'm only half way to goal. Definitely have to watch myself slipping into using food for stress relief or comfort. Vsg doesn't fix those old habits but it does make it possible to work through them a bit.

I was just wondering if I was on a good start or not. I've lost 14 pounds in 7 days. I was afraid I might be a slow loser.

Progress pic 2 and a half months out. 35 lbs down. i've dropped 2 pant sizes and even though I have a ways to go...The girl in the pic before surgery was sad, embarrassed, insecure...but now my confidence is climbing up again and I'm learning to love myself as I'm losing the weight. I've found that I'm not hiding. I put effort into how I present myself because I'm not worried about having to shop now. I'm so happy with my progress and how I'm practicing self love instead of self sabotage. This was yesterday and I was really feelin myself before I left for work. When you feel good about yourself, and love yourself, you have this light that shines and man people have been noticing the difference too. Hope you're all doing well on your journeys!

I'm June 27th surgery. Down 65lbs. I eat about 700-900 a day. But said not to go under 700. I get about 80g of protien. I stalled for about 3 weeks but back to losing. My biggest issue is Hair loss.
