I understood the point you were making. Sadly, it come off as Jerkish! Lolol I completely understand. Food is an addiction just like all others. When someone is changing their life they are encouraged to stay away from their addiction. Drugs, alcohol, Unhealthy food. So yes I understand needing to stay away from someone with bad habits that can sabotage your "Recovery." Just remember this is not Drugs or alcohol, this is food. If you keep finding women who are living an unhealthy lifestyle, then the problem is not them, it's you. You are still subconsciously seeking these women out. You still have "Obesity Brain." Get yourself involved in activities and social groups, that the focus is healthy living. Once there you will have to deal with your addiction and your insecurities about "Relapse." (For lack of better term.) I applaud you for getting healthy and recognizing the things to avoid. But now it is time to live. And that includes meeting real people, with real lives, real issues and don't have time to isolate from their family functions, events, etc because you are projecting your fears. You are not ready for them. Good luck on your journey! Sent from my LG-H918 using BariatricPal mobile app

I agree for some waist training is a fad. Corseting and Faja's have been around and in use for years. Only recent stars have made it a popular fad here in the US. But even if you lose weight, unless it is in your genes, you will not have an hourglass figure. Nothing wrong with someone wanting to grab that sexy look. No surgery date yet. She will be back from Maternity Leave then. I will keep you posted. Sent from my LG-H901 using BariatricPal mobile app

Just want to say waist training and Corseting are two different things. You can absolutely be 100% healthy and not lose muscle tone while training or Corseting. With that said, if you are waist training it is latex like a compression garmet. Talk to your Dr. Sometimes they are recommend after some surgery's. But only your Dr can tell you whats right. Corseting, since it is more rigid, I would definitely wait before putting one back on and wait till I am completely healed. Also, Real Corsets are expensive, wait till you are at your goal to start purchasing them they are a real investment and spending that kind of money for something you can only fit for a month is a waist. I am so glad everything went well with Dr. Bedrosian. Her Coordinator was really great with me and had the process down. Maybe she just doesn't get Cigna often? Despite that while you get everything figured out enjoy the ride and get your list done. Its taking longer then I thought it would, but glad now I have the time. I have Dr. Bedrosian as well. My sis is a Nurse in NYU and recommended her. She will have you obtain clearance from all of your other Dr's related to your comorbidites. For me I had to clear Rheumetology, Hematology, Pulminology before she will even consider surgery. She is extremely thorough. And She is VERY NICE!!! One hiccup she is currently expecting. She will be leaving for Maternity Leave either end of Oct or beginning of Nov. So, I can't get into Surgery until Jan. You may be offered the opportunity for another surgeon. But truthfully if you have comorbidities like myself its gonna take that long to clear them all. Lol On your first visit she will ask you a lot of health questions. Ans make surgical recommendations based on that. I really did quite answer your question, but at least you are not alone there!!! Sent from my LG-H901 using BariatricPal mobile app
