I am going home today ! I didn’t talk onnhere much yesterday . I was dozing off a lot . Doing well with pain . Just the right side of abdomen hurts . I have 5 insisins also . They said my liver was perfect 👌I have a lot a lot of gas pain and can’t tell the difference between being full and gas . My iv sites have been hard to handle. I have had. Four and I hope. O more

Have not replied in a few days... I am so glad to see and read everyone's success.. I know some are having a harder time than others but they do say the beginning is the hardest part so hang in there... ( I know i am not on the losers bench yet but i read a lot !! ) Well i have exactly 2 days to go!!! Can't Wait.. i am still hanging in there on the pre op diet and the only thing i have noticed here toward the end is i don't "feel" like i have lost anything. I haven't cheated except for a few egg whites and a half piece of baked chicken breast ( about 4 oz) .. My scale at home and work are inconsistent. Guess i will find out on Monday morning ! .. anyone else have the issue with not "feeling like you lost" on the pre op diet without knowing the number. ?

SO happy for you .. ha i was not nice today because i was hangry on pre op diet. our poor families

Angie. I am thinking those things too.. how are you doing on pre op diet. ? I need to get my bag packed still and wont shop for after surgery till the day before with my momma I have all my supplements though

Hi MissT.. So glad you are ok and i am sorry for your set back.. My Aunt was in that area too but her home was not damaged. I am in a thread on here call Oct 17 RNY buddies. Not sure if your in there but My surgery is on Oct 30th.. 10 days to go and on my 2 week pre op diet.. did you have to do your pre op over again ?

yes he said he should be able to still be able to do laprascopic sleeve .

Hi there. I had my preop appt with my surgeon yesterday he said the same thing except mine was because of a c section scar . He said most are fine be he did ask me what would I rather do a sleeve instead or be opened up in the case of this happening. I chose sleeve because I would rather not run the risk of being opened up and getting an infection sending positive vibes ! This is my Journey to Joy !

Thankyou for the encouragement and I’m glad your doing good . Yes I can have all the veggies I want too hopefully the hunger goes away for me too . It’s the hardest part smelling food at work . Lol the evening shift at the hospital likes to eat . I did get a bad headache tonight and I am having Charlie horses. Maybe I’m not getting in enough potassium ?

How is everyone doing that has had surgery so far this month ? I’m on day two of my pre op diet and I’m hungry . Thank goodness I discovered ff Greek yogurt with Mrs dash is great with fresh veggies ! Dill and garlic . I think it will save my life and my families 😂

Hey.. I am on day one.. so far so good. i ate steak for dinner last night as my goodbye dinner lol. shoulda had bacon. im good with everything else so far.. even when my boss offered me cake. .. . she forgot. lol
