    Hello everyone. ❤❤❤❤

I am 1 week post-op. before the surgery I was pretty nervous about the operation itself. stupid. that is hands down the easiest part. you won't know it happened and it's safe as can be. what i should have been scared of, but wasn't, was the pain the first two days after surgery. i did not expect that. i thought i could tolerate pain but i was mistaken. just keep taking a lot of painkiller drugs! i know it's hard not to be scared, but i wish i could go back in time and tell myself to chill bc it's nothing to be scared of. i can't do that, so i'll tell you instead. i won't say good luck bc you don't need it. so i'll say instead, HAVE FUN!

i wouldn't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. or in your case, the great! a strong and active 230lbs is a great weight and i'm sure a completely different quality of life. you literally ended your post with "maybe 180lbs is ALL I CAN LOSE". honestly, if you find yourself having thoughts like that, it might help to talk to someone. food and body image issues can happen at any weight. you might want to nip those negative thoughts in the bud and focus on being grateful for things in your life, both weight related and not. sorry this sounds preachy, i just worry about doing the same myself after my surgery. right now, 230lbs would be a dream come true. i do not want to get there and be obsessed with getting to 210. that is not "success" in my mind.

haha... i'm nervous too. i'm two weeks away! all i know is that if they let me out after one night, that's a GOOD thing and i'll be thrilled. that means the surgery went very easy and well and nothing is wrong in the slightest. bass in the space means peace see ya later.

well they won't let you go before it's completely safe, so don't worry about that. complications from surgery aside... if you're young, with no comorbidities, there's no reason you shouldn't be on your feet and ready to go the next day. my doc told me he'll probably keep me one night.
  8. that helps a lot actually. thanks!
