Left abdomen pain 4 weeks out

Thanks for the info. It’s more of a nuisance than anything.

Left abdomen pain 4 weeks out

Hopefully they figure it out. Mine is just a sore ache not a sharp pain. Best of luck
  3. Hello everyone. I had my RNY bypass on December 8th and I am feeling great and have lost almost 30lbs already [emoji15]. I was just curious if anyone else is or had experienced soreness on their left side near their large entry point for surgery. I know that this was going to be the longest to heal but I just wanted to see when it might go away. Sometimes the soreness goes to my back directly behind where it is sore on the front. It’s weird. Thanks for any responses.
  4. My surgery is this week and I'm extremely excited and nervous. Partially because I am stressing on what I will need after surgery that might be out of the ordinary. What did others bring or have to do after surgery. Also I'm still looking for the best place to get all the vitamins. Any suggestions on that would also be amazing. Good luck to any other December surgery patients WE GOT THIS!

I think that's why as much as I don't I want to just get use to what life is going to be like. Been in the program since April so it's crazy it's less than two weeks away [emoji15]

Thanks for the info. He just said high protein diet and little to no carbs. I think I will try the doing liquids for a week. Going to ask my team but I could use the practice and make the transition easier post surgery.

I have been seeing on here where many people go weeks with liquids before. My dr has not mentioned this at all to me and my date is set for the 8th of December. I'm so excited to get this done but feel like I need to be on liquids. Has anyone else not required to be on liquids until immediately before surgery. Thanks
  10. Thank you for your input. Definitely just something I need to adjust to.
  11. So I just got my surgery date set for December 8th and I am very excited and very nervous to get the bypass. One thing I have been struggling with is finding a good protein shake. For some reason I have always had a hard time drinking these. Usually get a bad stomach cramp after. This is making me very worried as this is my only source of nourishment very soon. Has any found one that they really like or maybe have been in a similar situation. Thank you for any help.
