  1. I'm almost 3 weeks post op band to sleeve and I've been suffering a bit of depression. I miss the social aspect of food [emoji22] I miss sitting around the table with my family at dinner time or going on date nights with my hubby. The look and smell of food is driving me crazy!!!! My question is does everything go back to normal and when? I know I'll eat really small portions and that my food choices will be really different but will I be able to go to a restaurant again? Will I be able to have a small slice of pizza on the odd occasion? Are certain foods lost forever? Thanks, feeling very emotional right now and having moments where I ask if I made the right choice [emoji45]

    Feeing sick

Thanks everyone. Ended up in ED this morning as I was having pain in my chest and shoulder and rapid heart. Turns out I have a blood clot in my spleen [emoji22] all is ok though hopefully it doesn't spread as already killed 1/3 of my spleen.

Thanks, I did have a more creamy soup the night before that left me feeling a little full so maybe that was it. Thankyou

Needing some advice on your experience. I am 8 days post op and 23lb down yay [emoji4] BUT today I woke up feeling super sick and have felt it all day. I felt this way 5 days post op but it went away during the day. I'm trying not to freak out that something is wrong but I can't help panic. Did anyone else experience this? Thanks
  6. I'm having my revision done on Monday 1st May and I'm suppose to have it in 1 surgery, however I'm aware that sometimes it can't be done for one reason or another. How many people went to have it all done in 1 surgery but woke up to find out they couldn't? And why? I'm so so nervous they won't be able to and I'll be without the sleeve and the band [emoji30]
  7. I second wedding ring, I haven't been able to wear mine since I was pregnant and my Bub is almost 3 [emoji30]

    May sleevers?

    Woohoo I'm may 1st too [emoji4]
  9. It did work for me, quite well. I lost 110lbs and completely changed my lifestyle for 2 years and then I met my husband who is European and they are pretty big eaters and so I got lazy and then we got married so I took all the fluid out of my band for our round the world honeymoon and then I got pregnant and put it all back on. It didn't matter how hard I tried to make the band work for me again it just didn't. I could never find that happy level of fluid, like you always too tight and everything got stuck. I met a few people that had the sleeve and I like that the results are more long term than the band.
  10. Thanks, this is what I thought too. I'm 350lbs and so far I've lost 11.4lbs in 2 days so I'm praying that it keeps up but I know it's prob not going to [emoji30]. How did you find the weight loss after surgery?
  11. Hey, I'm paying for it myself. I'm in Australia so I'm not sure what it costs there but I'm paying $16,500 here for it. Good luck x
  12. Oh wow I wish mine did, I'm going crazy drinking 3 meals a day.
  13. Hi, I'm having a revision from band to sleeve on may 1st and my doctor wants me to lose 55 pounds before my surgery by doing the optifast liquid diet. I'm terrified I'm not going to reach this goal in 2 weeks and I wanted to know how much people lost if they just did the liquid diet with no cheating. Thanks [emoji4][emoji120][emoji1373]
