I would like to thank everybody who has commented. The only support I need is my beautiful wife. She has been through everything with me. In October of 2015, I suffered sudden cardiac arrest at work and was clinically dead for over 5 minutes. I am truly blessed to be here talking to you all right now. I spent almost 30 days in ICU and my wife never left my side. Because my of my medical history, I chose weight loss surgery because I had been obese for over half my life and had failed many times dieting and exercise. I chose to keep surgery a secret with the support of my wife. I'm glad I found this site. I will be looking forward to following you all I wish nothing but the best for you all in your journey for a healthier thinner lifestyle.

Had surgery on the 8th and only my wife knows. I'm not planning on telling anyone else so thank you all for the ideas. Before the surgery, I started telling everyone that I'm changing my lifestyle to be healthier, which is very true.
I do agree with the notion of telling the truth and being 100% honest. But this is one of those things that I'd prefer to keep the details to myself.

Hope this helps. With sweets, at least for me, i have a craving for a specific thing and no substitute satisfies that... except time... when I can't get it right away and I end up not wanting it, since i couldn't have it right when I wanted it.
Can't comment on the taste but it seems to be a bit of variety. I've ordered some stuff just to sample and see if i'll like it.
