I have only told my immediate family and my best friend. Anyone else that asks I just say I am following a very low calorie diet and it is working!
Also, regarding the scars from surgery, if anyone asks in the future, I will say it was from having my gallbladder out, which is true but I had it done 15 years ago lol.

One other thing, here in the uk you can have the surgery done for free on the Nhs if you go through many hoops and it takes about 18 months to two years. Some people take offence that you have what they would class as non essential surgery and that it means in their eyes that you are a burden on the Nhs. That's obviously false as statistics show I will be much less of a burden once I lose all that weight and won't need diabetic meds and high blood pressure meds etc in the future.

Christmas eve party with the neighbours, sausage rolls (x2) peanuts (protein!) sour cream and chives pretzels and quite a bit of alcohol.
To be fair though, I ate very little beforehand and its only the second time I have had alcohol since my sleeve 7 months ago

I am a little late with this but here's my christmas dinner. Obviously I was way over exaggerating how much I thought I could eat lol but I did eat it later on for tea.

I recently went on holiday to Greece to recuperate, I had lots of small victories!
The plane seats were a better fit, the walk to a different terminal wasn't as tortuous and turning myself over from front to back on the sunbeds was a breeze, previously a real struggle!

I wasn't given any restrictions, just told to use common sense.
I think things change though, after surgery, I couldn't stand pastry at all, made me feel so poorly but now, almost 16 months out, I can eat it. I couldn't eat sweets either without feeling icky but I can now, I think our stomachs evolve.

    Update:
I'm actually back on the wagon now! My husband and I now have a little more money each week to purchase healthy foods, fruit and vegetables. We've turned our eating style completely around and have been working on it together, one day at a time. I actually taste foods differently, they're far more [flavorful] and exciting to eat. I actually look forward to designing, making and eating newer foods and flavors. It's a very odd feeling. I haven't even been able to discuss any of this with my therapist yet! Haven't seen her lately. But I plan on making my recovery a major topic as I still have a lot of mental health issues and food issues to work on. Slow and steady wins the race! So far, I've definitely lost 20 pounds. I *thought* I'd lost more, but my digital scale went on the fritz. I'll weigh myself at the doctor's office in a few months. It's hard not knowing, but I also dont want to live by the scale. I'm eating healthy and properly so I have faith. Also, I use MFP every day and it helps SO much! And my hubby, well, I couldn't ask for a better LIFE partner! Hes doing very well also. I never thought this could happen but it is. I'm very, very proud of myself and hubby.
So, it can and has been done! WOWZA!

If bra/panties pics aren’t allowed I will gladly remove. Here is a before and current. Pic 1 is 268 and pic 2 is 198. Notice in the side view that I’ve lost so much fat in my arms and chest that my arms now hang closer to my body so my fingertips hit a lot lower on my legs. I want to lose 60 more pounds, but it’s so far away it seems impossible. Adding my measurements also. I’m now wearing the lowest plus size they make. Almost in normal sizes!!

Have you tried importing them from other places?
I live in the Uk and am really shocked at the prices you pay in America. Over here, it costs me about £3 for any one bottle of quality multi vitamins/vitamin C /vitamin D etc for about a month to two month supply.
Surely it would make sense to import them?
    just an example...
    Boots vitamins

    Holland and Barrett
