lornasaurusleeve got a reaction from linah in Hit Onederland today!
It's been a rough road with lots of nausea and Protein Drink intolerance and more nausea, so the weight has come off a bit faster than my doctor and nutritionist projected, so your mileage may vary. I was sleeved August 8th. I've lost a lot of hair. Pic below is about two shower's worth. This puts me about 76 lbs down from my highest weight. Hang in there guys, I'm finally having more good days than bad. I don't have many recent pics that aren't just selfies but you can see the difference in those even! I have collarbones again, woo!

No plastic surgery has been done YET lol!
Went out to eat with my mother today as she was the only one who stuck by my side with this surgery, my only support. I couldn't love and thank her enough.

lornasaurusleeve reacted to whitneyisfab in 100 lb weight loss through BariatricPal Hospital MX
Hi guys! I had a mini gastric bypass with Dr. Illan in Tijuana on May 16th, 2017. I have officially lost 100 lbs! If anyone here is on the fence about Mexico, I say go for it! It was the best choice I've ever made. If you guys have any questions feel free to ask.

lornasaurusleeve reacted to WendyMay in How Many Calories Are You Eating?
It seems easier to get more calories in once you get to the stage 5 diet (regular foods). I'm having trouble staying at 800. Regular foods have more calories. I'm concerned also that I am losing weight so slowly because my body is in "starvation mode." I'm only a month out, and I've lost 20 pounds, but it is now coming off very slowly.

lornasaurusleeve reacted to VSGme in Extra Attention
I promised myself that once I started losing weight, I wouldn't date anyone that I knew from my 'heavy' days, if they weren't already interested in me back then. I'm 30 and I've already been divorced once, so I'm not going to get married again unless its with the right man, and I don't believe that the right man is someone that would be that shallow... Just my opinion

lornasaurusleeve reacted to Brandeis in 365 Days...!
I am officially one year out today -- had my surgery 11/14. On the day of surgery, I had lost 25 pounds to get from 317 to 292, and was incredibly proud of myself.
Today I'm 181. I am 14 pounds from goal at a year out. In the last month I lost 5 so -- soon maybe ?? Definitely by 18 months if nothing else.
I did a bunch of progress shots at 6 months, figure I'd add to them today!
First pick is at my heaviest; second pic is xmas day 2016, so about a year ago; third from 6 months out and the last, of course, is today!
First pic here is about 1 week post op -- I was so proud of how much I'd lost, jeeeeeez!! Second picture is around January, I think, then march, and then today, again!
This one is painful.
I took the picture on the right the day before surgery...looking back at it now, I don't even recognize myself!
My face from my 10 year college reunion at my heaviest, and then again, today (I don't recognize myself in EITHER of these pictures, and it freaks me out just a little.
Finally, for fun, a big change -- I picked up a tennis racket again this fall. And now it's too cold to play and I'm mad, because I want to SO VERY MUCH.
I'll have to see if there are any cheap indoor courts...
Other awesome moments in my recent life:
> seatbelts fit comfortably on airplanes
> I can cross my legs to sit comfortably in any situation
> didn't have to worry AT ALL about my size when going on rollercoasters at Hersheypark
> I haven't had a clumsy fall down in months, despite an incredible amount of increased activity
> SIZE 10-12 FROM A SIZE 24, I CAN FIT IN STRAIGHT SIZES!! went shopping at H&M and other places and realized how cheap clothes can be....
> went from fattest friend in the group to...potentially....the thinnest..........???
14 more pounds to normal BMI, and that's what I really want more than anything else.

lornasaurusleeve reacted to BigTink2LilTink in Can I see some before and after pictures for the sleeve?
This was my last comparisons pictures from about 5 weeks ago. Pic to the right was about 6/7 years ago maybe 10 to 15lbs away from 600lbs. I was at or near my heaviest weight back then. And I'm now here in the 240-250's weight range. That what my sleeve has helped me achieve so far.
