I appreciate everyone's input! I did get the caprese chicken and it was wonderful. I rarely get in all my calories, so I didn't think that would be an issue. I got grilled veggies instead of mashed potatoes, but I only ate about a 1/3 of the meal, and that was over 3 hours time. I had a fabulous evening...

I take Citracal for Calcium and D it's slow release and works well at keeping my vit D up which I struggle with but unfortunately they're large pills.

I use Bariatric Advantage chewy bite 500's. Just take one after each meal and they taste good. I usually keep a bag of chocolate and caramel on hand and sometimes switch out with Peanut Butter.

I'm thinking about this, minus the mashed potatoes. And, of course, I'll only be able to eat like 3 bites

Applebee's has lots and lots of choices. What about their chicken salad, and your shrimp idea is a great idea. I go out to eat all the time. I travel a lot. I just eat in moderation and make as healthy choice as I can. Enjoy your meal, your friends, and whatever you do will be fine. If I could not eat out, I wouldn't be eating because I am 75% traveling. I was just sleeved 7/10/2017. I had the lap band for 6 years before that.
Looked at your stats...You are doing wonderful. Keep up the great work!..I vote for the grilled shrimp!!! yum

Have you tried Alive! chewable Calcium with D3? I use it and I have not problems. It reminds me of Gummy bears.
I also use Alive! Women's Multivitamin. Unfortunately not every flavor is delicious. When I plan these Vitamins, I take two of the same.
Also buy the small pill containers. I have 8 (see picture below). That's an example of one of them. They come in all colors. I have one of each and stack them in a rainbow. It makes me laugh but also reminds me. I do a pack and go for the week. In addition there is the app called Round. I use it to because it sends notifications to my phone to remind me to take my vitamins.
    I hope this helps you.

They have a great healthy, no cal/low carb menu. I haven't been there in a bit, but I used to get the beef w/ steamed veggies.

There's a cedar-grilled salmon, though it comes with a maple mustard glaze--maybe you could ask them to leave that off? Or just order one or two of the "side" shrimp skewers--fewer calories that way. The salmon also comes with steamed spinach; you could have the steamed broccoli and/or fire-grilled veggies as sides. Take half or three-quarters of it home for other meals! Three of the four Soups aren't bad for calories: Tomato basil, chicken tortilla, or southwest steak and black bean: avoid the French onion. (Also avoid any other appetizers, they're ludicrous in terms of calories.) There really doesn't seem to be any way to get plain grilled chicken or fish there, though. Remember to focus on seeing your friends and eat really slowly.
    Good luck!

So I'm 8 months out and gone from a size 18 down to a size 6. I'm 5-3 and 135# right now. I've been consuming roughly 1400 calories per day. Pre-op testing showed that I had a very high metabolism (blessing and a curse). I don't want to trash it. I have no trouble getting in my fluids and proten. I do a combo of either walking/running, yoga, and interval training 3-5 days per week. I have struggled with hunger from very early on post-op.... real hunger. Anyway, I'm still losing about a pound per week, but am thinking I want 130 to be my new goal. So I'm thinking ahead to "maintenance" nutrition. What would a healthy, balanced macro profile look like for me? I'm thinking I should do another follow-up with the nutritionist, but wanted to solicit input here too. I am not doing Keto, nor do I desire to. I run and feel that I need some carbs for energy, though I stick to whole food/whole grain carbs and way less quantity than pre-op, think black Beans, whole fruits and veggies. I do oatmeal and yogurt on occasion too. Anyway, I'm wanting to tweak my macros on myfitnesspal toward maintenance. Any suggestions? I was thinking 35/35/40 carbs/protein/fat??? Does that sound reasonable? Gotta figure out what maintenance calorie count looks like at this activity level. I get 12k - 15k steps per day. My lean body mass is supposedly around 96 pounds.
Oh and here are a couple pics just because. No regrets!

I didn't have any bread products until I was 3 years out from my RNY. I got to my goal weight in 6 months but I was to afraid to try any bread. I will have 1 slice of a bread made locally called DAVE's KILLER BREAD. I have 1 slice of it with 1 slice of ham and 1 slice of cheese. I buy low carb flour tortillas. But I don't eat it everyday. It has worked for me. My Surgeon and my Nutritioist both told me before my surgery that in time there are no forbidden foods. That we need to eat them in Moderation. Some don't think so but this has worked for me so far. I have maintained my weight for 3 and 1/2 years. Have a great day!!

3boysmoma: doing excellent!! All went very well. Im very impressed how easy it was. The gas pains were the worst part. The nurses managed the pain well. Take a heating pad for the gas pains, it helped a lot. Good luck to you. Keep in touch[emoji5]
