  1. June 19th here. Dr. Illan. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using BariatricPal mobile app
  2. I have seen a lot of people that are having to have the revision after the sleeve due to inadequate weight loss or severe reflux. BUT there are also alot of people who have had major success with the sleeve. Its just a personal choice. The bypass is a better deterrent from going back to eating the junky, sugary and fattening foods that got us here to start with. Lol. I know thats what i need. Lol. I need something that will force me to change my habits and keep me in line. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using BariatricPal mobile app
  3. Having revision because i didnt ever get down to my goal weight and severe acid reflux. I lost a total of 93 lbs in about 8 or 9 months. Slowly started putting back on weight about 2 years after and also had a baby in may 2015. Have regained about 40 lbs so hoping the mgb will get me where i was trying to be. 7. Oh that's awesome. Surgery buddy!! 😁😁.. Find me on facebook if you have it and we can chat. Im also in Dr. Illans facebook group also. Btw, what procedure are you having? Sleeve, mgb? Talk to you soon!!😊
  8. Hey. Thanks for the reply. I didnt feel any hunger pains for while after the sleeve but as time went on i did start to get that empty and hungry feeling back again. And now 5.5 years later i get hungry about like i did before surgery. I have almost no restriction anymore and can eat pretty much whatever I want. Which is one reason I chose to switch to mgb. Hoping this will get back the restriction i need plus get rid of the horrible reflux i have because of the sleeve.
  9. Im going from a sleeve to MGB june 19th with Dr Illan in mexico. I am wondering, for those of you that are revisions, if and when did you start actuallu feeling hunger sensations again after surgery? Like real hunger pains not head hunger. TIA. [emoji5]

    So many questions about MGB

Hi. I know this is an old post but I am a current VSGER considering being revised to a MGB. I'm 5"6 and 220 lbs and I've just been wondering if I would be considered large enough for the MGB. My BMI is 35. I've heard of some Mrs not approving the MGB because patient wasn't overweight enough. I will also be going to Tijuana mexico btw. Thanks for any input.
