    Calorie Intake Concerns

I'm 4 1/2 months out from surgery and I get about 800-1000 calories in a day most are protein based. I drink two to three shakes a day. I am down 178 pounds in 4 1/2 months. but at first it was hard getting in 400-600 calories each day. concentrate on the protein and water, slowly work in small amounts of other foods.

    Tired

I was the same way but it gets better. I'm almost 7 weeks out and I'm not tired or weak. You can try some sublingual B12 and see if it helps with the tiredness. As far as being weak you will get stronger. It's a big surgery and your body has to adjust to the new less amounts of food your eating.

    POST SURGERY - FEBRUARY SLEEVERS

I had my surgery on February 14th 2017 and in six weeks I'm down 78 pounds. I too had a 10 day stall in weight loss but it has started back. I'm eating between 700-1000 calories a day. I'm walking 10000-15000 steps most days. I started last week going to the gym working with a trainer once a week to help with muscle toning and building plus trying to keep from having a huge skin removal surgery. I know I'm going to have to get some kind of skin removal surgery but I hope to reduce the amount of skin removed. If I can!
  5. I hope all is doing well!
  6. Had my surgery on the 14th no issues with the surgery. But I have severe osteoarthritis bilaterally. 4 days post op I started having issues with my right knee. Three weeks without NSAIDs. I couldn't even put weight on my right leg. It got worse my whole leg from my toe to my hip was swollen and sore. I went to the ER to make sure I didn't have a DVT. Thank goodness I didn't. I had a huge effusion in my knee. I got a dose of steroids injected today. I hope it gets better soon.
  7. I had my sleeve surgery on the 14th. First night and second day I had Blood pressure and Blood sugar issues both were higher than normal. Really not a lot of pain. The only pain I had was from the CO2 that they blew up my abdominal area with. I've noticed that I can't lie down after I eat something it doesn't come back up but I keep belching. I think I'm doing great for my first real day home.
  8. Tomorrow is the big day I'm so ready! Prayers please!
  9. I started my WLS journey at a starting weight of 456. When I went to the surgery seminar I weighed in at 411. At the Surgeons office I weighed 404. My sleeve surgery is on February 14th. Two days from surgery I weigh 371. I want this journey to keep rolling on.
