I'm three months post op also and the Hair loss is in full swing! I recently decided to up my Biotin, so hopefully that helps!! My NUT said that this should last anywhere from 6-8 months. Bleh.

I haven't lost any hair in fact my hair has grown! I take GNC Mega Woman gummy vitamins 4 a day and plus I take 10,000 Biotin that dissolve on your tongue!

I'm starting to experience hair loss... do any of you champs know when it stops? Is it a whole year of Hair loss? Or just a couple months? I'm just curious... I'm taking my Vitamins religiously I just feel there's no going around it. Hair loss is gonna happen I just wanna know what other have experienced as far as time frame or the hair loss! You can't have sparkling Water anymore. No carbonation after surgery.

I am two months post op was wondering when can I have like sparkling Water ... I'd prefer the diet flavored sparkling water but not sure when it is okay to? ... what do y'all think?

GA , my Bariatric family!!! This is a quick update on my progress!!! FYI, the further post opp you get, the less post you will make... at least that what happen to me, I AM 74 DAYS POST OPP!!!! Sleeve Date 12/15/16 by Dr. Luis Cervantes of Tijuana Mexico, 294-255lbs I LOST 1lb per day the 1st 30 days then it lowed to like 2lb per week, i eat very small portions like literally 5bites& i eat very often , i can drink all juices but sodad makes me throw up, i throw up at least everyothr day because i try to over eat, my goal weight is 250, once i reach that i will sett another smaller goal! My money was well spent, im a cash patient & i had absolutely no complications in mexico, call me iff you skeptical about going out of the country for the procedure, dont miss your blessings 214-229-7012...Gucci

Hello everyone I am two weeks post op and I have been given the ok to go ahead and have cream soups... but not sure which kind which brand.. what to look for? Should I be careful in Carbs? Calories? Sodium? All of the above? :/

I was thinking Progresso but idk? What are your thoughts?

IMO (and my surgical team) it's up to you. If you feel ready, go for it. I'd start light and progress from there. I was on the treadmill the second day I was home from the hospital. Good luck!

Right now I'm eating chicken broth for Breakfast, lunch, & dinner. I don't know if I can do this any longer? I'd like to at least have a Protein Shake for breakfast and not chicken broth

New this app I hope I replied correctly lol. But I weigh 228 also!!! I just started my liquid diet I'm afraid I'll loose to much weight and they won't preform the surgery.

What a coincidence! The difference is that I was 228lbs at surgery day. Talk to your doctor, he must know. All depends on how many weight you should lose. I'm 5'6 and you? Good luck!!!

Hello,

I have tried a couple different brands and found that my favorite is the Premier Protein shake in chocolate. An 11 oz serving has 30 grams of Protein. It's a good shake, doesn't taste chalky at all. You can find them at quite a few different stores including Walmart and Sam's Club, with Sam's Club carrying the 12 pack for a really good price.

For unflavored protein powder, I have tried GENEPRO, unjury and Isopure. So far, taste wise, I like GENEPRO the best, but was disappointed when I heard that Genepro's claims of 30 grams of protein per serving may not be true. My nutritionist said to stay away from Genepro. Therefore, out of the three brands that I've tried, Unjury and Isopure are my favorites. I used them in the full liquid stage after surgery.... mixed them in my cream of celery Soup. Now at 12 weeks post op, I still use the unflavored protein powder in my iced Decaf unsweet tea. Tastes great.

I'm scheduled to have my surgery 2/15 and my doctor required 1 week prior but everyone is telling me to do two weeks so I started ... I feel it's safer but who really knows? Every doctor is different?
