hi everyone! I had the laproscopic gastric bypass in 2008 and the last few years I've been having problems that seem to be getting worse with gerd. I am on omeprozole 40 mg once a day and I have been having severe pains in my abdomen. I went to the er the other night and the doctor gave me famotidine 20 mg tabs and they seem to work for about 2 hours then the pain is back... he told me to only take it 2 times a day so I don't know what I should do.
