If you had doubt you made the right decision to back out on an IRREVERSIBLE surgery!
It's an emotional decision too as we have to accept WE NEED HELP & that's a tough pill to swallow for many of us. All I can say for myself & literally 40 years of yo yo dieting is that a switch flipped in me when my only son turned 13 - instead of being afraid to have surgery I am afraid NOT to!! I want to be here as long as I can and this will increase the odds. Staying at my current weight or losing/gaining yet again will never help my body & increases my risk not my odds. Good luck whichever way u go- we DO understand and you are not alone!!

Crushing It!!! Love the IDK for current weight- who cares?? We've been prisoners long enough to the scale - my goal is to throw it out & know as long as I change my lifestyle it's all good. Keep up the good work

Think this way....if you can stretch your stomach then what complications can there be? My worry is am I eating too much or am I losing weight? I don't see it myself but my husband tells me that I've lost weight. I think everyone worried about something because it's an emotional roller coaster. Don't think about complications in 20 years think about what you'll be able to do and what you'll be doing in 20 years that you could have never imagined doing if you hadn't lost the weight.

Just a tip- the premier shakes have a banana cream flavor that's the best!!! AND u can find it at Walmart!! Hope this helps one of you.

This is a tough time. Know that it does get better and there is no need to "mourn" food.....You'll be able to eat those things again down the road. Some sooner than others. All the meats and Proteins you'll be able to have before you know it, so just hang in there and stick to your plan. Once you're past the weight loss phase you'll be able to work special treats into your plan from time to time.....so there is not really a reason to mourn.
Try to stay busy it will help with the head hunger. Go for frequent walks.....also a good trick to curb a craving is to brush your teeth.......drink lots of water!

Hey Laurie,
Think about the EXTRA 8-10 years you're ADDING to your life...I think about those extra years and special times I WILL have with my son:) and now let the Peace & Calm flow thru!! Good Luck to all of us out here looking for that extra support to get us through!!
