I'm not sure about but I just got back from Tijuana and someone else in the car didn't have a passport. All she needed was license, birth certificate (certified) and she also took her social security card and had no problem at all.

I can only imagine your frustration! There should be an appeals process you can go through and that's where I'd start. I had to appeal a decsion for some medication once and all worked out for me. Please don't give up! File an appeal ASAP! GOD BLESS YOU. Best wishes.

I had the band but after 6 years had it removed. My friend also had it and hers slipped twice. She almost died from complications from the band. Ultimately it's up to you. Good luck.

I just came from there this past Tuesday. Everyone was fabulous! The dr., bariatricpal valets, the hospital staff, Bill and Stacy. We were treated very very kindly. I do not regret going there. The only issue I had was at the hotel. They must go all night long and was kinda annoying when you just want to rest (casino in the center of hotel). Unless the put you at the other end of the hotel then the noise isn't bad. Good luck!

I too added my Protein to Soup. The Soup was too hot and was a big clumpy rubbery mess and disgusting. When it's mixed with cool or cold it does pretty good. I'd try adding the Protein after you add the cold Water to the hot and see how that works for ya. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

I was sleeved January 20th in Tijuana, Mexico too. Same scenario my daughter found out about my plans and was totally against and scared to death I'd be going to Mexico for surgery. There are many more positives than negatives. I knew someone that did almost die from it but if you're not doing your pre-op diet to the TV then you're putting yourself at risk. There are stages you go thru every week and if your eating harder food and you're supposed to be eating puree foods well then you are putting yourself at risk. Your NEW stomach has to heal. Yes, I was scared to death to have the surgery and even thought about backing out a time or two but I'm glad I didn't. When I left the hospital last Sunday I weighed 188 and as of yesterday 169. The best way to ease your mind is to do your own research and really get informed. Wishing you the very best! God bless you hun in your decsion.

Well, here I am on the countdown! I'm so ready to get this done and over with. Although, the pre-op diet isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Thank goodness! Ready to start this journey. Please keep me in your prayers.
