I never ever do the low calorie dressing or low fat.. full fats are the best for you as long as its coconut oil or olive oil base. No canola or verge oil...

Starting BMI was 31-32 84kgs sleeved dec 5th 2016 Meds were 200 micros mon - fri , 100 -sat , 75- sun
Now weight is 65 kgs ( been this weight for a while now)
So 200 micros still mon - fri
meds have only gone to zero on weekend
Feel no different at all lol

I'm hypo as well and take 200 micros of thyroxine a day. Reduce on weekends now though due to my weight loss after vsg.
I had no issues losing and was nearly at goal weight around 2-2.5 months after my op. Being a low BMIer. But have been stuck for ages at my current weight. Sleeved 5/ dec 16.

answer was a def no and I didn't have to wear weird undies like some have to wear the hospital ones.

Watch it all the time then you tube it lol.. watched a marathon my 600 lb life on the weekend.
You notice how they always seem to come from lower socioeconomic areas or are very poor?..

You have to eat a **** load of Protein before your kidneys may be effected and that's with kidney issues to begin with..

People haven't walked in your shoes and not should they pretend too. I have a little bit to go for the weight side but a long bloody journey ahead to keep it off lol.

I was around 1.5 - 2wks post op when we did the deed... I couldn't have cared less when we did it lol.. he pested me so I gave in lol

Wait till you start to eat normal again even at the purée stage ... you will soon know what full is lol
I was thinking when I was on the liquid stage that I wasn't sleeved cause I had no real restriction at all.. I had no problems sculling Water either. But solids is s different balll game

It will not fix any kind of food addiction or sugar cravings. You still need to watch what eat even more with the sleeve.
All meals have to be nutritional as you can fit so little in. You don't want to waste that space with crap.
But I find I snack more so in the arvo. Not because I'm hungry but well just because!!..
I have never needed an excuse to eat.
Having adult kids in the house we still have crap and I'm tempted every damn day with that.
Trying to lose weight before and doing what I'm doing now hasn't changed.
I have lost the majority of my weight though and wouldn't change my decision about getting the sleeve.
Any kind of weightloss journey is a life long journey. Unless ya born skinny with an awesome metabolism we are all on the same boat.
