Hello! I'm trying to get all of my Vitamins, shakes, and Water together before surgery.
I will be having the RNY surgery.
I have found Bariatric Advantage, fusion, and Celebrate supplements, just not sure of what I will need post op.
What vitamins do you use? Need help.

My bypass surgery is May 12. I will be using Celebrate Vitamins & Bariatric Advantage. Also, Celebrate essential 3 in 1 drink mix. Great taste.

My surgeon told me never again. I cried so much since I was a heavy coca-cola addict since age 5! Had several a day. I got sleeved 9/27 and I haven't looked back! Don't drink it! I won't even contemplate a sip I'm afraid I'll go back to it. So I had to divorce it!

I want to do a tough mudder. I'm still preop and I've gotten up to walking 1.5 miles a day. I want to be happy, so this all about me for once! I have a hard time doing for myself, so I need to start somewhere!

The waiting is definitely awful.

I don't know if this is happening to anyone else, but I've been fighting a serious case of "Last Supper Syndrome" since about halfway through the 3-month program.

To make it worse, I've had almost zero binge eating issues for about 4 years (yay, ACT therapy!), but I've been SO STRESSED OUT during all the waiting process that it's been a neverending battle. I've gained ~10 lbs over three months! Which is insane because my weight hadn't changed by more than +/- 4 lbs in about 4 years.

I think what's happened is that I went from being okay with my weight for 4 years (fat-and-happy) to a rush of hope that surgery could help me with this life-long issue...that I didn't have to accept obesity as inevitable.

The hope is turning against me by becoming anxiety, haha!

I'm trying to hang in there. It's hard when we've come so far. Good luck

Following my last one is Thursday

Well, I finished up all of my evaluation requirements. I called my surgeons office and the secretary said she will put all of my requirement paperwork together and give it to the surgeon so he can medically clear me for surgery.
Does anyone have any idea how long this takes? I was told to just wait for the surgeon to call me back, but had no timeframe for when!
This waiting part sucks!
So, what's what happens now? Any advice is welcome! Thanks!

You're a stones throw away from me. I'm in Copperas Cove! Where and when is your surgery? Maybe we can be buddy's on the losers bench! I'm having the RNY. I go to the bariatric center in Temple at Scott & White. I'm in the process of getting all my tests done right now and hoping for a date in March or early April!

I can't wait to like shopping for clothes again.
I can't wait until I'm fit enough to run a 5K.
