I'm a 55yr old woman going for Gastric Sleeve surgery, hopefully within another month or so. I've already done all the tests and have an appointment with the Nutritionist on Friday March 10th. I've already gotten the letter from the therapist I've been seeing since August of 2016. My diet letter was sent in yesterday by my Primary.
I did have one hiccup so far: my endoscopy revealed that I had the H Pylori bacteria, and so had to do 2 weeks of 3,000mg antibiotics a day, plus two acid-reducing pills twice a day. I finished the antibiotics yesterday and this morning went to LabCorp to do the Urea Breath test. The results should be in this Friday and I'm praying it's negative otherwise they won't submit the paperwork to my insurance company.
