  1. On inauguration day I went to a party and probably ate 1700 calories! Then yesterday I only had about 700. Most days I try to eat about 1100.

     

    So I'm eating what I want but just in small amounts. Some days I get in 50 grams of protein, some days I get in 80. I am not super strict with myself because I like to eat and want to be able to eat what I want. I feel like it works for me. What I do NOT do (but did for awhile) is eat a lot of food in one sitting, just because I can. I really limit all my intake to about 1/2 cup of food, no more than a cup. If I'm still wanting more after that, I just stop. Besides, I might PB, so I don't want to eat too much.

  2. I'm sorry you're having a tough time. I don't know why you haven't lost much. We started out about the same.

     

    I'm exercising a lot (run 3x a week, swim 4x) but I only started running recently. I started out doing water aerobics 3x a week, then switched to laps (burns more cals) and now have added in running.

     

    In terms of food- I really don't know why I'm losing. I don't eat fantastically. But I track EVERYTHING I eat on calorieking.com My calories change dramatically day to day. Most of the time I'm somewhere around 1100, but that's only because of the exercising I think.

     

    I wish I knew how to help you! I would say write down EVERYTHING you eat so you can look for patterns, and then begin exercising if you haven't already.

     

    When I stopped losing for awhile, I tried to find out what I was doing wrong. I ended up increasing my calories and proteins.

  3. I think you look SO great in your photos!! I think you can make them bigger. I upload them in the regular size on facebook but you could put them on a blog or myspace or something. You could even put them on snapfish or webshots. Then you copy the web address and insert it into the little box that pops up when you click the picture icon.

     

    You look fantastic!! I can only DREAM of wearing a bikini. Did you get plastic surgery? I'm getting nervous about loose skin... so think I probably will need it.

  4. I was 275 before the preop diet and 263 at surgery, so only 60 lbs since the preop... How is the pregnancy going w/ the band? NW weight loss is in Everett, right? I looked there, but my doctor at Swedish is just blocks from my house which makes fills and things really easy. Good luck w/ everything!
