I will be post op RNY on April 5th. I woke up tonight with this weird pain behind my ribs on both sides. I took two gasX because it feels like gas pain but the pain isn't going away. It's not like unbearable but it feels like a sore muscle but throbbing when I lay down. Anyone experience this? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I have been having the same thing. I had RNY on the 5th of December. I was doing great. I even got a week of purée in and then all the sudden I was so sick. Could eat could drink. Dr told me it was inflammation so I am trying some over the counter anti acids to see if that helps. Today was the first day I didn't dry heave and could get liquids in. What is the point of liquid diet?

My DR said December! I just had my first consultation last week (I'm a private payer) I have started my pre op diet, tracking and eating clean. I just came back from my first consultation. I am so excited to start this journey, my next steps are to see all the specialist!
