I will be going back to work tomorrow, exactly 2 weeks from date of surgery.
I hope I have enough energy to make it through the day. Hope I can get all my liquids in. Hope I have no bathroom issues.
Hope people don't ask me what surgery I had.
You all have been great these last two weeks.

My kids are grown, so it is only my husband. He has been cooking his own meals (I'm only 2 weeks out) He is doing well in the kitchen.

Omg i tried the biriactric advantage chocolate today it was awful. Back to my fruity nectar

After 2 weeks of trying every Protein drink I found one I liked! I can't believe it. I even made my husband taste it. I said it tastes like pudding, he said it tastes like fudge bars.
It is thicker than any others I have tried and was surprised that I liked it that thick. The others I was adding skim milk to thin them down.
Pure Protein shakes are now on my daily menu!

5 datys out and I hear you.
I have pain for almost every swallow I have taken since day 1. Everytime I swallow I get a pain like it is fighting through gas bubble that explodes once the liquid hits.
Now I have HUGE blisters all over my body that burn like fire.
Regrets yes
