I'm wondering if anyone has had any denials through Molina or Medicaid insurances for REVISION surgery???? If so please let me know the outcome of it??? I am waiting for my approval and I am apprehensive about this!!!!

At first I wanted the sleeve but the. Doctor mentioned that the sleeve would not be a good fit for my BMI, therefor he suggested that he only do the bypass, which would be more effective for me. Which I agree, but for some reason I see people who have had the sleeve ended going back to get the bypass. I myself look at the one that's going to last me and maintain me forever. Every surgery has its pros and cons.

I think my solution was do not buy a scale, I am not concerned about number at this point, I am more concerned of eating right, Protein and staying hydrated. I got to the gym 3-6 times a week and I do an hour a day, they also have a scale so I set myself a goal and I said every 3rd of the month I will weigh myself. I understand the frustration, but do not give there. Keep going, I hit a few stalls. However it is not stopping me. Best suggestion is do not buy a scale. It becomes an obsession.

I have been dealing with very dry itchy skin, post surgery I'm 3-4 weeks out, any suggestions on lotions or treatments???, I have tried many lotions and has not worked at all.!!!

I am right there with you, I had my surgery the same day as you, and I'll tell I really felt prepared but you can never prepare on what the outcome might be!! I been having a bit of regretfulness. But like my uncle said there no turning back what done is done, and I have to make the best of it. I had the RNY knowing it's complications prior and after there's nothing like living it and being real. Let's hang in there we got this, let's be positive and make some great remarkable memories!!!!

Morning everybody!!! I am doing good!! I am in a lot of pain and nauseous but that's normal!! The worst part for me was going into surgery!!! However I thank God I made it out safe!!! One more thing I do not have gas pains at all!!

I know people who are skinny or thin still produce more estrogen then progesterone. It's just a thought!! It might be a hormone problem

So when you get your Menstrual periods, what do you guys take for cramp pains???
I see we cannot take ibuprofen, midol, or Motrin? Any suggestions besides tylenol????

Great job Shelly!!! I would have to say have the healthy carbs, like starchy and nonstarchy, veggies fruits at this point where you are I think healthy carbs are important. I'm on a low carb diet, I'm getting ready for my surgery and I'll have carrots broccoli a little bit of Beans I can't have no more than 30 grams of carb a day, to be honest I don't even get to 30 it's probably less than 20 grams of carbohydrates. I don't eat no breads no rice. I eliminated all of those!!
