  1. I got sleeved June 6th 2016. On surgery day I weighed in at 345 pounds! Today July 21st 2016 I currently weigh 288! So that's 57 pounds in 6 weeks! Not bad My surgeon was very surprised and happy with my results. But I told him I do 4 miles of cardio everyday! The surgery is great, but it's what you do after that really makes the difference! I hope you all are having a great weight loss journey! And for those in the process of getting it, I hope this gave you some motivation! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

6-8 pounds a week???? Holy crap! I'm 2 weeks out! The first week I lost 34 pounds. After that I haven't lost anything Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App How long ago did you get the surgery? And how much have you lost in total? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App How much Protein are you getting? You may not be eating enough if you are exercising alot. It was probably the best day of my life I've been eating refried Beans with shredded cheese, turkey chili, low fat cheese sticks, mashed potatoes with no problem! I do get full fast but the food goes down with no problem! I was afraid I would have problems eating but I've been great so far! If you're still on liquids, don't be discouraged! 5 days post op and I'm so ready to eat

I've been drinking Protein Shakes, water, broth, sugar free Popsicles and crystal light! I'm on day 5 and I don't have to sip one ounce anymore. I can drink it in 1 shot. Maybe it's just in my mind but I feel like the liquid isn't doing it for me anymore. I can't wait until next week so I can eat some pureed foods Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  24. My surgery for the gastric sleeve is this coming Monday. As most people I'm a little nervous. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips and tricks they can give me so that my first week after surgery is a little easier! Thank you in advance Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  25. Great! It is cool to see the numbers on the scale drop rapidly. Just keep in mind that none of us lose at a constant or steady rate. We all experience slow downs and stalls. Just about everyone stalls about three weeks after surgery. Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process. Don't let a stall derail you. Just follow your program. Focus on getting in all of your Protein and fluids. Take your Vitamins and supplements as directed. Exercise when cleared. And, Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall. You're 1000% right girl! I know the stall will come as it does in every weight loss journey! I'm just happy I'm seeing results But your advice is spot on Thank you Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
