I can hardly burp anymore...in jr. High I could burp while reciting the alphabet TWICE. All in one burp........I know......I was freaking awesome right?!......well now I can hardly muster a small girly burp and sometimes ya need to get that gas out...lil uncomfortable. Anyone drink beer after having sleeve? It's way too early for me I'm just a couple weeks post op. I'm not a huge drinker but do enjoy it socially. I like craft brews. I was sent back to work as a prison guard 2 weeks post op. Was definitely too early considering they said don't lift over 20 pounds for a month....my gun belt weighs me than that and I'm sure wrestling a 300 pound inmate wouldn't be good....I took it easy and tried to avoid a fight and I did ok. 6 weeks post op now. I had that. My dr. Recommended a pro biotic pill called florostor. It worked well. There are cheaper store brand options. I still take them so I stay regular and to curb diarrhea from eating the wrong food. Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

Has anyone felt depressed aftwr surgery? I touched on this in another thread but would like to hear others with this issue and how you dealt. I haven't laughed since surgery on 5/24 the liquid diet is hard for me but I don't think that's my only problem...I'm just down and can't get out of my funk. Poking around I found a small knot in my belly. Bigger than a pea smaller than a grape. Called surgeons office they said sometimes the sutures cause small knots and not to worry.
