To break up the monotony of sweet Protein, put non flavored Protein in broth. I need that after getting a headache. Headache never came back.

Hi all! Sleeved on 7/13 and can't seem to drink enough liquids or get enough Protein. Was fine first two days. Now I seem to be very uncomfortable. Any advice or suggestions?

Hey I was sleeved on July 13th also!
I spoke to my surgeon after feeling dizzy and heart palpitations. Dehydration is a real problem after surgery.
He told me to get 40 oz of liquid in me, including meals.
Protein scoops with coconut water( 3x a day 12oz)
Protein with bone broth (4 oz)
Isopure flavored Protein Drink half bottle with added Protein powder (10 oz)
popsicles (4oz) and Water for whatever I'm lacking.
I hope this helped a bit. Congrats on making the choice for a healthy life!

At my pre op today my surgeon was happy to see I've lost 26 pounds for surgery. All my tests are done.
Surgery is next week!!! I'm thrilled! So here comes the question....
Did anyone use norco for pain relief after surgery?

UPDATE: Day 3 of liquid Diet. Feeling so much better now. Trying not to go too long without drinking something.
Still within my 1280 cal and not in pain anymore.
Pre Op today, I'm thrilled and Dr. Pham is happy that I've lost 26 total pounds!
Surgery next Wednesday and Sunday I'm going to tell my family I'm having surgery......we shall see how they take the news.
Did anyone else get Norco for pain after surgery?

Today is my 1st day of my pre op liquid diet.
I had a Protein shake with greek yogurt and coconut Water for Bfast.
Home made vegetable broth for lunch and a SF popsicle.
A Green drink with hemp Protein for a snack
and a Protein Shake with almond milk for dinner with a half cup of SF Jello.
I drank 12 8oz cups of Water.
I had worked out for 40 min doing cardio and I'm afraid I've created this headache that won't go away.
Is the headache from heat, exercise exertion or lack of food? Has anyone overcome this feeling. I don't want to think I'll have this headache until after surgery.
...please help?
Thank you!

I was on BC ins. switched to Aetna ins. 4 months in. I had the insurance agent add I'm in the middle of the bariatric surgery process. This helped me to continue my process without delay.

I had my EKG done last Thursday and I'm ready for Pre op with the surgeon on July 6th! Then surgery on July 13th!!

I went to 2 support groups this week. Both were good but the 1 that was better is not at the hospital I'm having my surgery at. I'm having my surgery at the other but I think I'm switching support groups... is that unfair to me? others?
I enjoy this support group and the one on FB.

The OP was sincerely asking a question her team did NOT ANSWER to her satisfaction. No need for rude comments disguised as jokes.
@@still_dna Please call the hospital if your surgeon or his office do not give you a definitive answer.

Get PROFESSIONAL Help! In support group I met a woman who started drinking wine and became an alcoholic. She lost her husband and children in 2 years of this addiction and decided to attend AA Meetings to reestablish a relationship with her children. In the AA Meetings she polled the people and found out 15 in the group had WLS. 1 DIED a slow miserable death. So her warning to us was NEVER drink, it can cost you everything.
