Hey! I’m hoping to find someone that’s going on a similar journey.
in 2016 I had a sleeve. Lost 100 lbs, got pregnant in 2017 but Kept most of. Then in 2019 we started fertility treatments for number 2 and I gained all 100 back. I’m having bypass revision on Jan 6. I’m panicking.
I’m 30, I have two girls, 4 and 1. Live in Illinois. I have an extremely sarcastic personality. Not a good marriage, not much support. I don’t really have friends. Anyone? Lol I sound like a blast

WAIT. Halfway through this, I checked to see if I wrote this. I had a sleeve in 2016, lost 100, and then got pregnant in 2017. I have PCOS, we had to do IVF to have my second. In the time between both kids, I gained all 100 back. I’m having a RNY revision 1/6! Feel free to message me!

5 hours ago, catwoman7 said:I'd call the company and ask. Even if that insurance company covers more than one weight loss surgery per lifetime (and some don't...), your employer may not have wanted that coverage included in the policy they offer their employees. Also, even when places approve revisions, some of them will only approve them if there's a medical reason for it - something like severe GERD or some kind of malfunction. But I'd ask - you never know.
So I tried but no one there is helpful at all. I have blue cross through marketplace, not from a company

Did you have revision because of regain or gerd? I don’t have any issues except regain.

I had the sleeve in 2016 then had two babies and ultimately, regained almost all of it back. I have PCOS and infertility (had to do IVF), but no gerd. Will I be approved for revision from regain? I have BCBSIL PPO.

I’m looking to have a sleeve to bypass revision but I’m not sure what my insurance will cover. Is anyone on BCBSIL PPO 204 plan?

Hello!
It’s been a bit since I’ve been on here. I had the sleeve on June 27, 2016. I lost 100 pounds, had a baby, gained about 40. I’m starting weight watchers now and hopefully going to get pregnant again. Anyone in a similar situation??

The problem is that I'm throwing it all up :/

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and about 10 months out of surgery. I'm having a lot of morning sickness and having a hard time keeping anything down the second part of the day. Any ideas on how to get my calories in still? I don't go to the gym now bc I already don't get enough nutrients

I started out at 306, I'm at 238 (as of yesterday when I had my gallbladder removed). I'm afraid I'm done losing because it's been so slow lately! Any advice on how to pick things up again now that I can't go to the gym for a bit??

I had my gallbladder removed yesterday. Any ideas for what I can eat after gallbladder surgery?? Online it says whole grain bread, Pasta and rice and stuff but I can't after VSG. It contradicts itself.
