    Eating often?

I went back and added in my drinking schedule. Between 8:15 and 12:00, I generally drink 48-72 oz. Between 1:20 and 5:00, I drink another 48-72 oz. I don't have any problems at all getting liquids in, in fact I drink 100+ oz. a day; I actually stop mid-evening so I don't have to get up and pee during the night.

    When did your tastes change?

My tastes changed immediately... 2 weeks after surgery I devoured green Beans, which I previously hated. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "

    Change in diet

Yeah, those are all relatively fatty. Perhaps you have developed gall stones? Eating a fatty meal and having gall stones can cause pain/nausea/vomiting. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "

    It's done...although with last-minute changes

Way to go, PorkChopExpress! The next 100 will be gold. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "

    Sugar free candy

Yeah, it's best just to stay away from candy. It's just going to reignite your cravings.
  7. My spouse (who wants the sleeve as well) and my sister (who's had a bypass already).
  8. I was on the treadmill on day 5. It's just walking, not working out. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "
  9. The chewable ones are one tablet twice daily.
  10. I'm surprised how little I care what other people think about my weight loss or appearance. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "

    Eating out

So far (6 weeks out) I've done Mexican, Chinese, and Italian out, and I've had: Mexican: chicken chimichanga, black Beans, stuffed chile relleno, fajitas, huevos rancheros Chinese: tofu, garlic green beans, chicken curry, mongolian chicken, dragon chicken rice bowl (no rice!) Italian: chicken marsala with broccoli I'm restricted for right now to no raw vegetables and no beef, pork, or lamb, so I've really only scratched the surface of what I can/will be able to eat. Follow your plan. "When all is said and done, usually more has been said than done. "

    Weighing.

First thing each morning. Keeps expectations real and reminds me that surgery is a tool, not a magic wand.
  13. So weird to come back from the gym and feel more energized than when you left!

That is why I only work out in the mornings or I cant fall asleep

That's how I feel after walking for about 20-25 minutes on my lunch break. And why I try to do some crunches at my desk once or twice a day; helps me to feel energized.

  14. I was sleeved on a Tuesday, and I was ready to go back to work on the next Monday. Actually went back the Wednesday after that, since our FMLA contractors were being obtuse. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  15. Had a bite of Junior Mints last night in the theatre... and wow, just didn't do anything for me. 5 weeks ago I would have eaten the box and gotten a second box to go with. My tastes have changed so much! Next to the lack of driving, never-ending hunger, I think my favorite part of this experience is really tasting things (even things I used to hate) for the "first time" all over again. Plus down 6# this week!
