:clap2: I can't help myself but I really need to tell the world, the banster world that is !!!!!! Today marks 2 months since I had my surgery (11-10-05). I went to the doctor today to get weighed in and BAM lost 49 lbs. I can't believe it. Even my doctor is in shock. I haven't even had my first fill yet. The way everyone talks about them at first scares me anyway. I only ask myself why did I wait so long to get this done? God I feel great ! Josephine 251/202/140 someday

Hello fellow DFW Bansters, I am looking for a support group that I can attend in the DFW area. I live in Arlington and would prefer somewhere near my area. Does anyone know where there is a support group meeting I can go to? My surgery was done by Dr. Robert Snow in Decatur but I would rather not drive over an hour to go to a meeting there. I see him in Hurst for my weigh ins and that would be so much more convenient for me to go closer to home. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Again, Josephine

My doctor told me that I can eat anything pureed. You really need to let your stomach heal. Just be careful. Josephine

What happens to be the average weight loss for 5 weeks post op. I had my surgery on 11/10/05 and 5 days prior to surgery I started the liquid diet(of course not on that now) and I have lost a total of 38 lbs. Am I losing to fast or am I average. The doctor says I have a small band around my stomach however many cc's that is. I saw him on Weds. and he said he didn't want to give me a fill until January, that is if I need it then. Enlighten me please. Josephine
