    Feeling Down

I understand. I love that I’ve lost over 100lbs. I still know that this is one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. Just take it one day at a time. You’ll feel better

    Gas

Hi everyone. It’s been a minute since I’ve posted. I had my procedure in 2016. I’ve lost a good amount of weight but now I’m starting to gain weight. I know I’ve been eating the wrong foods. My sweet tooth/junk food cravings are starting to take over. It’s like I try to stop the cravings but I keep eating. I also noticed that I have a lot of gas everyday all day long. Somebody talk to me before I lose this battle.
  3. I love fruits and I can pretty much eat most of them now

    Burping and feel no restriction

Im 3months out and I still belch-burp with everything I put in my mouth. I have gas all the time. I know that after I take 2-3 bites, to stop because if I try to take another bite, I will be in trouble.

    getting in my liquids...

It was hard for me as well, so hard that I had became dehydrated. I was getting dizzy from walking stairs or just getting up from a chair. My NUT pushed protein and fluids, but protein first. Im better now but still healing. My pouch can only hold two bites of food. Just take it one day at a time. It does get better and easier.

    Did I actually have surgery?

I am 3 months out and I had the same problem. Then I couldn't eat eggs, drink water or drink protein drinks. The only thing my pouch could hold was broth. Protein drinks would not stay down. That lasted for about a week or so. Im doing so much better. I still have days when my pouch is iffy. Its a one day at a time thing with me. About time I take 2 bites or sips of something, I stop before I get full. If I dont stop, me and my toilet will be having a conversation, lol. Sugar and splenda and equal upsets my stomach. I wish you the best of luck. It will get easier

    Gas

Every time I eat something, i get really gassy. I eat slow, no drinking 30/30. It's really bad right not. This time I ate a piece of baked chicken. I'm ready to make myself bring it back up. Does anyone else have this problem.
  8. Im 2 months out from bypass. Im starting to have way more gas pains in my pouch after I eat. Anybody have that

    Is my bypass working?

I did that one time and paid for it dearly. My toilet and I became the best of friends, lol. My pouch couldnt hold anything down after that fantastic plan of mine. It gets better. Im 2 months out from bypass, and still have gas issues after eating. Really bad gas pains in my pouch. It eases up but not til like two hours later.

    Average weight loss

I just thought it would be more. Now that I think about it, all the problems Ive had thus far, it good. Ive had problems with my pouch not keeping down anything, not even water. It keep it down a litter better now but I always get this nasty taste in my mouth when I drink water. Good luck Weslee86

    Type 2 diabetes

I had bypass on July 26, 2016. I'm 6-7 weeks out. I'm diabetic. I was on Metformin and insulin of 4-6 injections a day. Since surgery, dr has taken me off insulin. Now my sugars are still running close 150- 175. One of the main reasons I had my survey was to get off these MEDS. Now I'm afraid that I might have to go back on them cause it's not controlled. Sometimes I can't eat due to nausea really bad. When you don't eat, blood sugars go up. I've been struggling these past few weeks. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
