Final appointment is 3/22. Hopefully surgery in April. My surgeons office is great. Counted my apt last month as diet trial 1, went to class last week #2. # 3 coming up in March. Last appointment 2/22. Hopefully surgery in April

I have had a band 4 years. It messed up 10 months ago and I have went back to alot of my compulsive eating. Gained 20+pounds. I have to say the band did help me. You simply cant eat alot and as soon as the weight starts coming off, you just want to keep goung because you realize how much better you feel. I remember being pre-op and my favorite thing to do was look at progress photos and dream
I am 6 months, 10 days post op and I am down 128 pounds total. This isnt a very great pic since I have been sick, but i still took it because anything is better than my before!!

Wanted to comment back on this post. This helped my food addiction. I no longer consider myself a food addict or a compulsive over eater. The surgery forced me to find alternative ways to deal with my emotional triggers. Beyond grateful I did this!
