When is the surgery date picked ?

Your surgeon's office should submit all the paper work to your Ins, once it's been approved for the go ahead, they should call you to set date. It all depends on the Ins Co and fast/slow they are

    Its happening! Now! Aahhhh!

I must be a freak. When I did my swallow test I didn't mind it as much as I thought I would. I guess I was just so excited to be able to drink something. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App This is the first I've heard about a post op barium swallow. I wonder why they want people to do that when they just want you to have clear liquids the first couple of days. Seems to go against their own rules, lol. It's mainly to check for leaks before you leave the hospital Sent from my SM-G900V using the BariatricPal App

    Medically Supervised Diet

I had to pay a $450 fee that wasn't covered by Insurance. Made a payment toward it last mo., and went to pay more this mo. Was told to hold on to it till they decide by next mo what they were going to do. They said they may do away with it and pay back what we have already paid.

Congrats on giving up your soda. Expecially with it being diet soda. I'm still working on trying to give up my coffee.I have cut down to 1 cup a morning from my 2. Problem is, that I can't drink it without cream and surgar. So once we move this weekend, gonna try using decaf in a smoothie.
