    Sex after sleeve

Im down 70bls with 20 more to go. I've just started seeing a slight patch of wrinkled skin on my tummy and I've been debating whether I really want to lose the additional 20. Right now I have no loose skin and my bat arms are hardly noticeable. I decided long ago that I don't want any plastics because I don't want to look like frankenstein. I've already lived most of my life feeling self conscious and this is the first time I feel good about myself with my clothes off so I don't want to trade one bad body for another. Anywho, I'm single and had my first encounter in a year just a few days ago. I was so paranoid about that little patch on my stomach that's wrinkled right above the navel...now that I look back I really thought at the time it would be show stopper. Really! The show went on. But still, I'm very soft and I've started to jiggle a bit and that's makes me a little self conscious but it's nothing compared to what I use to feel with the rolls of fat! Oh and you're not alone in the horny category. Now that I feel better overall I'm ready to catch up on some 'feel good"! In general, i think if you want it and it shows, nothing will get in the way of that. Afterall, it's not my first rodeo. I got plenty as a thick chic too!

I'll try to be brief....I just need to vent

I too have some people in my life like this. But I try to keep in mind that's it's their body like this is mine. I don't promote the surgery. I let myself be overweight too forever and I didn't want it because of loose skin. I came to the decision in my own time. And I'm quick to remind people asking me about how to lose weight that I'm no expert. I spent years doing all kinds of dieting. I just say that I found something that works for me! That's what everyone needs to do. And when folks start talking about all the 'loose skin' and whatever downsides they can think of...I quickly get on the subject of my now size 10 clothes, bikini and any NSV. Things they certainly can't relate too. It just evens the odds a bit, ya know. (and @her1981...really! she's there taking your old 'fat' clothes and trying to naysay at the same time. You know you feel good about yourself when you don't just go off on people like that. 155lbs gone! you rock!)

Pretti...Ive been meaning to ask you about those fruity shakes you had in the hospital.do you have any more info? In hindsight were they really good or were you just that thirsty! I know the thirst is real after surgery...
  8. I substitute a pill for the vitamin patch. See patchmd.com. I've had my levels tested and it works fine. That's one pill down.
  9. Oh my.....I plan on going back within a week. I have a sedentary desk job.

  11. You look great. I actually spoke to my doctor about not wanting to lose too much. I don't want to start looking wrinkled and unhealthy so I'm ok being a few pounds over, I just want to get in the healthy range. He advises that most patients get in the very lowest of their overweight tier. Then slow it down from there. Slow it down is not eat more (so tell hubby that eat more carbs is a no no) it will just bring back old habits, He suggest cutting down on vigorous exercise. Weight loss will continue but not as fast, I know you want to lose and I will be facing a similar situation when I get there. But in the end you gotta do you! Maybe if you slow it down he'll come around. And get a ticker or something please. You're a success and I can't see your journey. But the end result is fantastic!
  12. Yes and no. This can skulls be probate but you have to do it. The insurance coordinator at my Dr office called and got all my require and sent in a pre- authorization as well. That locks them in to defining requirements. That should say...the call should be private...

To tell or not to tell?

yeah it certainly would vary depending on your life. For me, if i skip carbs in front of people I get questions about whether or not I'm dieting. If I drink a Protein shake in public friends want to know why. if I wasn't overweight I'm sure no one would really notice. But I'm social and I have alot of people around me and they notice stuff. I don't watch what thinner people do but I do notice when someone overweight is doing diet related stuff like eating measuring food. But I don't ask people questions. And I'm not really the most approachable person but they still find a way to get their questions in. Nosey nellys!
