Congratulations lady! You look amazing! -
I'm 4 days out and struggling to consume the right amount of water. And being this dehydrated is making my blood pressure and heart rate go up. Any tips to getting in fluids?

As a so-Cal resident hearing I will eventually be able to eat a small taco or chipotle made me happy. I'm only 3 days out from surgery, struggling to ingest my 48-64oz. It seems impossible now but I know it will get better. This list gave me hope. ???????? -

What does it feel like right afterwards?
Afrikanaaa replied to ld33's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I had my surgery two days ago in Burbank, CA. I've had three knee surgeries prior to this, and tolerate pain pretty well, but this was just different. I remember waking up in the recovery room, beyond groggy, loopy, nauseous, and in pain. The pain wasn't the typical "ouch" pain, it was more of a I just did a million crunches and my abs are trying to recover soreness. My stomach felt "unsecured", and I remember the first day being in the hospital and barely being able to walk 10 ft without feeling like vomiting--although I never actually did. Day two (today) was much better. Was able to walk. Get some fluids in. And they actually sent me home. But now I have found myself unable to sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time. Gas builds up and I have to start walking my hallway until I burp or something. -

My surgery is in two days (1/15) in California and I'm a little nervous. Thankfully reading this thread, with all your experiences, has brought me some peace. Please keep me in your prayers. ????????
