I'm a little different, if leftovers make it into the fridge, I have no issues watching them spoil and then throwing them out. However, I've always been a member of the "clean the plate" club. So I have to be extremely careful about measuring out my portions because if it's on my plate, I'm going to try to eat it.

2 oz turkey, 2T mashed sweet potato, 2T stuffing, 1T gravy, 1T cranberry sauce. then in about 1 hour 2T pumpkin pie(just the filling). i found some gingerbread spice herbal tea that reminds me of mulled cider, but without all the calories and sugar. that, and the chance to be truly thankful for the MANY BLESSINGS that i have this year, will be on my thanksgiving plate!

I wonder how it would turn out if I stuffed a turkey with crab, scallops, celery, onion, old bay seasoning and breadcrumbs. Crab Cake Stuffed Turkey.

Order iced tea, order Water, order whatever you want. Who cares if you are drinking alcohol or not? That is absolutely nobody's business but your own.

DavidOso got a reaction from BLERDgirl in 20 days and things aren't "moving"...
at three month post op i am using psyllium Fiber and ground chia seeds. 80-96 oz fluids every day(that takes some doing!) the 3 "F's", fiber, Fluid, and fitness. the more you move the more you will"move". in months one and two it was not unusual for me to go 4-5 days w/o bm. very unnerving but this too shall pass! (sorry)

@@toasty "rectify" ... I see what you did there. XD
And for you others in this thread I'm so sorry to hear about your issues, I can only imagine how awful it must feel. I've always been perfectly regular, but since surgery I have experienced a little bit of a back up for basically the first time ever. I find that exercising and then immediately taking a hot bath or shower really, really helps me. Other than that, Smooth Move tea is really all my tummy can deal with. My NUT tells me that near the end of the month when I can switch to the next phase of food I can start oatmeal, and I already bought the weight control quaker oats, which have more fiber/protein and less sugar than other oatmeals, and I'm hoping that little bit of bulk will help. I also noticed a marked improvement when I raised my Water intake from 60-ish ounces a day to 75-80. HUGE help, even though it's above the "recommended" Water intake. Try it out, I hope some of this stuff helps you! Feel better.
