I have regained a ton of weight back after Covid. I would like to find a great doctor, Nutrionist to help me evaluate my diet and get back on track. It would be nice if they did hormone evaluation too, but not required. Any referrals in Dallas, Richardaon, Plano, Frisco, Allen, or DFW metroplex is appreciated!!!! Hang in there. I just busted a month long stall by switching some foods around and increasing protien. Crazy as it sounds I drank a little bit of dill Pickle Juice for nausea.

So I am in a stall. I cannot get my life in order due to nausea. Makes me afraid to eat. I am trying to determine clothes sizes and my measurements are aweful. If my stomach would go down it would help but it will not cooperate. I just cannot get balance to my life.

You might have had a stricture for a long time now and it just keeps getting worse!

Maybe stricture- I have been having an incredibly difficult time. RNY surgery date was 9-28. It was a breeze at first. I got 60 oz Water in right away. Then 80-100 oz of water daily. Then at about three weeks I had extreme me nausea. Then diarrhea and dry heaves. Then dehydrated. Then a fecal impaction. I am on Zofran which helps. Having an EGD tomorrow. They think I have a stricture. Anyone else have this? It does get better right?

Alex, I heard you are doing a study on them. Is that true? Any results?

Someone in a Bariatric group on Facebook died last week. It is aweful. They think it was food poisoning but she didn't take Vitamins regularly.

My question is important. The reason is this. I was walking 2-3 hours a day post surgery. I was doing awesome. Then I cratered. The doctor said that the reason is they fill you full of fluids so you feel great. Then it wears off and you must stay hydrated which is very difficult. So about 2 to 3 weeks in you can feel miserable, which is confusing if you don't know why.

I had my rny on Wednesday and was back at work on Monday. I work in an office and sit at a computer 75% of the time and the rest is walking to the printer or someone else's office. I have been fine energy wise except for going up and down stairs. That takes my energy level down fast but just takes about 15 mins to get it back.

Question: when was your surgery date?

Has anyone used this? Do they work?

I did 4 weeks. I still have a lot of trouble with exhaustion.
