    Are you missing the crunch?

I love microwaving some cheddar cheese!! It makes for a great giant chip. I honestly don't miss chips at all, and I was a serious chip addict!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    This damn stall

I'm 10.5 months postie and I've stalled for about 7 weeks now. Don't know if it's gonna last forever, and at times I'm very discouraged but I have to give myself the opportunity to CONTINUE to be successful, so I stick to my meal plans and workouts. There is no end to this way of life. After all, it is my NEW way of life. Saying that, if you're just a few months postie, believe me, you're NOT done. Your body is playing catch up. Let it do its thang!!! Good luck XoXo Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Sore is good, right?

Ok, so I bought a jump rope because I WAS amazing at jumping rope when I was younger. And have found that as I've aged my coordination seems to have abandoned me.. it's coming back (I think) but let's just say my jumping rope consists of a lot of "f" bombs and sweating, boy am I a sweaty, bouncy, hot mess. Nevertheless, I very much enjoyed outdoing my 15yr old athletic son after I got back into the swing of things. I skipped bouncing around yesterday and walked at a pretty normal pace, but did 3 miles while my son was training at baseball. (I'm secretly determined to be as fit as he is) and immediately felt sore afterwards. My question is, was it the walking or the skipping rope that has made my entire body hurt sooo good? It's a good kind of sore, but I'm talking 'bout abs, booty, shoulders, EVERYTHING hurts!! Going to alternate days doing these and see if I can tone up. Has anyone tried jump roping again? And did you see results? XoXo Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    My work here is done

Hate to see you go. I'm more of a quiet participant on this forum, usually only post when I have to encourage or congratulate. Or if I really need the help of the vets. Last night, particularly, I had a vet pm me and she has been such a doll. I appreciate you guys, and I hope you have a change of heart. I can only hope to be as successful as the vets on this forum. Hell, I'm 10 months postop and I'm still needing you guys. Sorry to hear the stupidity finally broke you, but us less stupid people appreciate you. Thank you. 19. @@Djmohr I'm also limited to exercise as I have a middle ear condition that causes sudden vertigo and blackouts from just a slight turn of the head/neck. I have ran on the treadmill a bit throughout this journey but have gotten quite a scare twice already. Is it possible to continue to lose weight (after the brunt of it is gone) I have lost 142 lbs but ideally need to lose another 40-50 lbs. I am currently stalled now for about 1 month at 10 months post-op. Help! I'm feeling sooo discouraged. OP, I didn't mean to high jack your post, but it hit so close to home and I'm pretty down about the weight loss freeze I'm currently going through. Thanks for reading my mind!!
