Anyone else in Chicago proper?

Does anyone else feel that weight is more of a stigma in the gay community than in society in general?
I think maybe even more so for men....

Reading the OP once again I truly feel you need to see someone.
I know it's extreme but have you considered an inpatient stay to address your issues with depression?
It seems like everything is being blamed on the surgery and sometimes it's not that simple.
Please seek help from a mental health professional before making any major decisions like seeking reversal surgery.

So, this is my reintroduction I had a sleeve done Feburary 2016. I lost roughly 115lbs. Felt great!
Recently I have slipped and regained weight.....time to regain control and finally reach my goal weight once and for all! So, I am back to the board for camaraderie and inspiration.
This week I am back to a liquid diet, much like being preop and I'm loving how tiny my sleeve feels !! Love it !! Time to take control back....once again...

Hello my fellow WLS peeps. I am on a mission to lose 50 pounds that I have regained. I am feeling hopeful and know that getting back to basics will do it. I would like this thread to be a place where we can come and be transparent and accountable. I plan on checking in with a weigh in every Monday starting tomorrow. important thing is you are
acknowledging that you have/
had a problem.
doing liquids now is a great
jump start to loose some weight
at a rapid speed. (making you feel
good) then continue with all that
you learned as a newbie. (water,
protein, etc.)
turn around -support is always near by

Welcome back! You can do this. Sometimes we have to get back to the basics to stay on track. I haven't been sleeved, yet, but I will be on September 8th. I battle with pcos and crazy cravings. But, I know it's those stupid hormones being out of whack. Let's crush it together.

I have been a Prime Member since it existed and I have shopped with Amazon since 1999.
I'm done with Whole Foods, nothing will get me to shop there again.
I like shopping at Lucky's Market. I completely gave up Trader Joe's and While Foods for Lucky's. The shopping experience is better, the sales are great and the regular prices are fair and affordable.

I agree! I have sent clothing to thredUp....they send you a postage paid bag, you fill it with clothing and they pay you....I have app credit for new clothing

It's finally happened! 9 months post op and I am a normal BMI! I am a healthy weight for the first time since I was a small child.

Hi. I started 3 months after my surgery. I was sleeved 5/29/16 and started in late September going 2 days a week. Eventually it increased to 7 days a week
HW 340 CW 200.

Getting ready for a wedding today. Figured I would take this shot and compare it to one I did about 6 years ago. I was indeed at my heaviest weight at the time. And I dont even need a belt to wear these pants.
