I use Bariatric Advantage chewy bite 500's. Just take one after each meal and they taste good. I usually keep a bag of chocolate and caramel on hand and sometimes switch out with Peanut Butter.

When I was pregnant with my last baby, I bought ula popken brand called ooh la la or something like that. Great briefs and boxers. Loved them. When my under belly under my panni starts to get sticky and sweaty and rub ugh hate that! I use Gold bond medicated powder. I throw it all up in there and in my thigh creases and it's instant heaven! I totally recommend it, but OMG do not EVER get it in the crotch of your panties and put them on! It burns so bad!????????

There is no physical or medical need to shave off pubic hair. It is actually there to protect your body from infection. It doesn't improve the ability to cath. anyone to be shaved. It's really just shocking that it would even be suggested! I'd question why the surgeon feels the need to shave off a woman's pubic hair when his part of the body to work with is all belly button and above! Sounds to me kind of creepy!

I haven't updated pics in awhile so....gonna do that now.
To answer the question when will you feel better, it's hard to say. For me, I had the foaming thing once and it was because I was not sipping my Water constantly like I was told to, and when I got to carrying around my water bottle everywhere and sipping as I went, that went away. I still carry my water bottle everywhere I go. I'd be useless without it.

Sajijoma got a reaction from Aminor825 in Husband not supportive
I went through this with my husband too in the beginning. He didn't understand how much pain I was in on a daily basis or how much torture I went through on a daily basis from my weight itself and from trying to diet and being so hungry all the time it hurt too bad to sleep. I sat down and poured my heart out into a letter and gave it to him. I even linked to a bunch of different YouTube videos for him to watch both from Bariatric surgeons and from people just like me who have had the surgery. It helped him wrap his mind around why I wanted to do such a thing. We still had bumpy Patches throughout the whole process including him refusing to read my post op care book to see what it was I needed him to do since he missed the class. Since surgery though, as he's seen me gain back use of my body that I had lost and to see me smile again and be happy and active, he's good now. He was afraid in the beginning that I could die and that this was just another in a long list of "lose weight schemes" like all the pills, the various diet companies-weight watchers, Jenny Craig, nutrisystem that we poured so much money into with no real results, and that I was putting my faith in a surgery because I was out of options. Now he knows better.

It sounds to me like you are describing dehydration., although I get this really rank metallic taste in my mouth-like sucking on pennies-when I am in ketosis. You can always buy Keto sticks and test your urine if you want to know if you are in ketosis or not. You can get them at most pharmacies behind the counter without a prescription, just ask.

Sajijoma got a reaction from blondie66 in Is Quinoa okay after RNY?
I didn't have quinoa til probably 6 months out, but I eat it on a regular basis. My advice is to add a bit more liquid when you cook it than you normally would. It will help it get softer and easier to digest. Also take it very slow because that is not something you want to overeat because it does swell a little in your stomach and that can be painful if you take a bite too many.

I recently hit Forever 21 sizes. I love that store and H&M. My advice though would be to wait to buy a goal dress until you are at goal because your style and personality might change as you go or you might accidentally breeze past the goal size you bought and never get to wear it. I know I've breezed through a few sizes without really making use of the clothes so now I'm just buying for the size I'm in and a size or two smaller in small quantities so I don't waste too much money.
