I didn't cheat that close before but if you have been "good" until then, I wouldn't worry too much.

I had not thought about eating with my left hand! That's a great tip!I use a timer, a small spoon/fork, and eat with my nondominant hand...
My surgeon suggested it at my last appointment and it's been a huge help in slowing down!

Fitting into the space suit I will get when I go to NASA'S teacher camp this summer! Also, fitting into snorkeling gear!

Hold on... they make different type belts for that?

A big motivation for me is challenges on my fitbit! Sometimes I win, sometimes I lose- but I'm m I ch more inclined to get moving!

I read somewhere, and I dont remember where, that your "growling stomach" isn't actually hunger but is actually your intestines digesting food.
And medical or nutritional people around to weigh in on that?

I have a Mirena (on 2nd one) and I love it! I didn't really notice any weight gain after having it put in.

You could always say "I have had some health problems but I'm doing well now! Thank you so much for your concern!" if people get nosy about where you have been.
As far as meals out, Soup is generally a good option!

Treat yourself to one thing, hang it in your room and look at it every night and work hard at getting into it.
Not too small though, be realistic about the numerous goals along the way too
I love this idea! It's a great motivator. I think I'll do that myself!

First, congratulations on the loss!
I've only had one fill (banded Aug 4) but I have 6 cc in my band. I know I'm not in the green zone but I am thrilled with the small amount of food I can eat.
I would make an appt and explain that you are still hungry and not feeling restriction.

Congratulations on your surgery! I'm glad you found something to help!

I have NC BCBS as a state employee. I had no problem getting my band approved at all. It took less than a week from the time it was submitted.

I would join in a heartbeat!

I think it's a personal choice that everyone has to make. I don't think there is a perfect, one way fits all choice. Personally, I have told anyone and everyone. However, that's a part of my personality. I know not everyone is an open book.

I had crazy food dreams right after surgery. They pretty much stopped when I could start eating things I could chew. I missed chewing.

I love my band! I've only had it for a month, but I'm extremely happy with it and have lost weight already!

No pain unless I do something wrong. I have had one stuck episode and it was horrible. If I twist my abdomen the wrong way it hurts but other than that I'm good. Look me up on fb- Crystal Cash White- I'm on fb much more often..

Hi! I got banded just over a month ago. My tips would be- do what the surgeon/NUT says and don't rely on the scale (in the beginning) stalls are normal in the beginning and if you don't see it, it won't stress you out. Are you on fb? I'm part of a small group of Banders on it.

Walking is boring for me unless I have something to engage my brain. My favorite way is with music or an audiobook. If, for some reason, those resources ate unavailable, I count my steps. It's mundane and doesn't require huge concentration, but is just enough engagement to keep me from getting bored. My fitbit helps too because I'm engaged in a couple of competitions that spur me to keep going.

My BMI has always been at 40-41. I did loose a few pounds and it put my BMI at 39 and some change and of course I am back at 40. I don't have any co morbidities other than Asthma although I am showing signs for sleep apnea.
That gives me hope!I have NC BCBS for teachers and state employees and I had no problem getting my surgery covered. The lady who does insurance at my surgeons office said the lady she talked to at the insurance company didn't know the plan. They made a change in their policy and the rep didn't even know. I'm about 6 weeks out from surgery.
I didn't have any comorbidities but my BMI was over 50.

So I haven't read much of the comments , I'm going strictly from the title , I had said this before in a one of the other forums , but sex is at its best for me ! When I can get it lol ! I have lost around 125lbs and as you may or may not know but a man gets "larger" when he losses a lot of weight and that's a real confidence booster ! Plus you become a little more flexible and limber
Being heavy most of my life I was always the last guy to get any action. Lol. I haven't had any of the hair loss that I see people talk about , it's been about a year and a half since I have had my sleeve ,
And I've been working out almost everyday so lose skin hasn't been to bad I will attach a photo that I took last weekend when I was in Bermuda. There's some flab but it's only about an inch or two . I'll give it another six months and if it's still there I'll look in to having it removed I heard it's only like $20,000.00 for this procedure does anyone know ?
Hot damn, you're gorgeous! Sorry, I just had to say it
I haven't noticed an increase in my libido *yet* but I hope I'm not still single when it happens. I met a man right before I had surgery... I was hopeful something would happen there but there's no spark.
