I have really fought buying new underwear, even the cheap ones. I am spending more on replacing my underwear than I am my clothes! I spent $26 on 10 pairs of underwear at Walmart. Do you know how many pairs of jeans I can buy at Goodwill for $26?!

Lost 27 but my BMI is high at 46.

Yep, my surgery is Monday as well. 6 am...I am the fattest patient that day...my surgeon does the highest BMI's first. Scared too but I am doing this!

How long did it take for your approval? My surgeons office said it could take up to four weeks but I've never seen anyone on BP that had to wait four weeks! I am waiting on approval now but I'm not sure when or if my paperwork has been submitted. I was just told it has been sent to the person who will be sending it to the insurance. Ugh.

Well, if i answer the questions honestly, i am sure it will come back I am suffering from depression. However, a majority of my depression is related to my medical problems, some weight related and some are not, feel as though the surgery will help me with some of the problems (diabetes, sleep apnea, HPB).I definitely don't have any paranoia, mania, delusions, etc. I hope I don't get disqualified for having depression!

I recently posted a question about a psych eval and of those who responded, there were different experiences. Some had extensive questioning and some were just casual conversations. I would like to know what the difference is all about...is it the professional conducting the evaluation or what the insurance requires?? Does anyone know???
