  1. Day 2 of my pouch reset.

Not as tough as I thought it would be.... but it still is only 1030am on day 2.  Perhaps this is the calm before the storm when I have to cook my family supper tonight.

Either I am stronger than I thought I was or it really is just easier and better drinking protein juices and water.

I have had a dreadful headache for the majority of the day. Even after 2 shakes, 1 decaf coffee and a mug of broth I am still hungry and headache has not subsided even after 2 Tylenol.

Fingers crossed I can last the night. I am really really looking forward to a scrambled egg for breakfast.

I am finding it very difficult because I have kept my surgery journey to myself. I have a great issues with appearing weak, thus struggling silently and not express my difficulties to others.

Today is the new chapter in my Book of Life.

Thank you for your kind words.

I cried at the store today when I was picking up the last of my supplies. I am overwhelmed with excitement but also saddened that my son started grade 2 today and tomorrow I am leaving him :(

  8. Is there a BMI scale on this site? I see that it was calculated when I put in my info and would like to know what it should be.

  9. 48 days until I leave for Mexico. I am currently researching post op vitamins and protein options. I am okay shopping online but I would prefer to go with as much natural/herbal and Canadian products. Any suggestions???

      I am from Edmonton.

I am having a dificult time finding a vitamin to take because there are SOOOO many out there.

And at the end of the day, how different are they.

They must be due to the price differences.

I look at any thing Kirkland as being pass produced and sold in bulk.

I look at Jamison vitamins as bottom of the barrell cheap cheap. At Rexall Pharmacy they are buy one get one free right now.

I look at the online, super-weight lifting-junkie vitamins as over priced repackaged Jamison vitamins.

They do have a bariatric online vitamin store that I have been looking at.

But again I go back to the cycle of "are they the same vitamin just in a different package"?

I would like to go as natural as possible when it comes to vitamins, whether it be through herbal or not.

I do also want to support Canadian products and buy as local as possible.

North Americian for sure. NO out of country products for this girl unless absolutely necessary. I always check the labels of everything I purchase.

No better feeling than putting on an outfit out of your regular comfort zone. Plus the added bonus of shopping for a smaller size.

      You go Grammy !!!

Been suffering this for many years now even after countless diet changes, diets and internal tests. I am hoping after my surgery in September is the major diet change it will all go away or at least settle down.
