I like that it is Water like so I can drink it easily, so I only mix mine with Water and I use 6 oz of water for a scoop. I drink the Cappuccino in the morning or at night. I have another brand of Protein with BCAA that I drink after workouts. I used to use 8oz of water but it takes too long to drink.
I purchase my Syntrax at a local store called Supplement Superstore. They have the best prices. $29.99 for the 2.2 lb sizes. vitacost has the next best prices at 32.49.

I'm hoping to get at least a year post op before I even consider this.
It's already been over four months since I quit beer-liquor. I don't miss it and don't want to fool with it.
I simply want to follow the plan strictly and be done with being fat.

JosieAppleHead got a reaction from Nibbler in Should I cancel my surgery? Help!
Personally I think you can help her more if you are healthier. Before surgery I felt like I was about to have a heart attack and immediately after the surgery I felt 100% better, even though I was in pain (all because of the long scar) I was better after surgery than before.
Plus it sounds like you give a lot of yourself and your family knows that you ALWAYS put yourself last and they are insisting that you take care of you. In addition it sounds like a little fear maybe in place as well.
This is the one time you need to focus on you and don't be afraid of a surgery that these professionals have been performing for more than 20 plus years. (if thats the case)

I take Celebrate calcium citrate with D3 chews (not gummies) and they are very good. They come in chocolate, caramel and fruit flavor but I have only had the chocolate. I get them at a local hospital pharmacy and they are $14 for a 1 month supply (3 chews per day). I have seen them on Amazon but they are much more expensive there...

I am furious with the actions of the elders and councilmen of this church that you faithfully attend. I am glad that you have found replacements for them for this honorable celebration. I hope they are still invited and feel ashamed that they backed out or other wise. I hope that in the event that they approach you with apologies or any concern with your guest sending thanks and asking for blessings from our Lord, that you are able to peacefully express how they could have handled things with your husband. Even if they don't approach you I feel as if this should not happen to another person and they should be made aware of how insensitive they were and that there is a time and place for everything. Finally, forgive them for their ignorance and remember we all fall short of his glory and it is he who is the only perfect one. Just because they are elders and council men does not mean they are he who is able to wash us clean they are just as filthy as any of us.

I don't know if I felt the same way as you but I definitely have always struggled with feelings of never being good enough. It comes from having a perfectionist personality but growing up overweight. All I ever wanted was to make my parents proud, especially my dad, but I knew he was always disappointed with my weight. So I was very well-behaved, made great grades, an all-around overachiever and always on a diet.
In time the self-hatred grew because my weight was the one thing in my life I couldn't control. I had a complete breakdown about this time last year because I had been doing a juice fast and I couldn't take it anymore. I decided I needed weight loss surgery. A surgeon recommended it a few years before and I felt insulted he thought I couldn't lose the weight on my own. I realized he was right and I hated him for being right and I hated myself for letting him be right.
Here I am nine months after surgery, I'm 89 pounds down and 11 pounds from my goal weight. While I'm happy with my progress I'm not as happy as I thought I'd be. I keep thinking, "just get to your goal weight" but I know when I get there it won't be good enough. Now I want a Tummy Tuck but I'll need to wait at least a year before I have that done. Will I ever be happy with myself? I hope so.
One thing you'll read on this forum is that they do surgery on your stomach, not on your brain. If you have issues before surgery those same issues will be there even when you reach your goal weight.
My goal now is to work on accepting my flaws (those new forehead lines, my saggy tummy and thighs, my fine/thin hair) and having a normal relationship with food. I've been reading "It Starts With Food" and it's turned on a light for me that seems like the missing piece of this journey I've been on this year.
You deserve this surgery. Everyone deserves the best shot at getting healthy and you are no exception. Anytime you have a negative thought about yourself tell that voice to shut up and compliment yourself.

You're problem reminds me of one Deputy Fife had. I don't know if you are a fan of the Andy Griffith Show, but on one episode, his deputy had to gain weigh to pass his physical. But despite his best efforts, he just couldn't the gain weight needed. But somehow, on the day of his physical, he managed to weigh just enough to pass.
As he left the examination office, he opened his shirt and took off his neck chain that held his whistle. The chain was not your ordinary whistle chain, but a chain made of heavy links.

They only had chicken but it was shredded so that was good-I think I ate mostly broth and a few bites of the others and one bite of sweet and sour chicken for taste:). I'm down 16 pounds since surgery on July 10th and 55 total since starting the process! I guess I must be doing something right??!! ????

As someone who's going through exactly the same thing, here's what I would advise based on my consultations with a plastic surgeon.
    1. Take a good, honest look at your body and prioritize what you really want/need to change, and what you can live with. Due to anesthesia limitations, my surgeon told me that I couldn't wake up and be "fixed", but could choose two of the 4 procedures I wanted done at a time. For me, that ended up being the boobs & arm lift- the two things I felt caused me to feel the most self conscious and were the hardest to disguise, especially in the summer. The other two can wait till winter time.
    2. Get an expense estimate with the length of validity. Plastic surgery is quite expensive, and depending on what you're interested in, many insurance companies won't cover the cost. Check out financing options to help guide your priorities.
    3. Ask to see before/after pictures, and allow the surgeon to "manhandle" you to give a relative idea of the results. This part was a living nightmare for me to be honest- standing in a pair of (horrifying) surgical panties in front of a complete stranger who was pushing, pulling and tugging at parts of me that I didn't want to touch, let alone someone else But....it gave me a semi-realistic view of what he could do to help, and he realized my discomfort immediately and said something along the lines of "I know this is rough for you, but think of it this way. I see women just like you every single day. I'm not looking at what you are, but what you can become. I'm an artist, and your'e my canvas. Let me show you the beautiful artwork I can create." I was sold.
    3. If you're going for a boob job, don't be afraid to try them on for size. My surgeon had a special bra you could pop implants in to get an idea of how you'll look- kind of like those maternity belly pillows some of us tried on in the store when we started needing maternity clothes It's ok if you have no idea what would look good- he/she will, and will be able to explain the types of implants and what they would recommend.
    4. If the idea of scars freak you out...I asked my surgeon to use his marker to actually draw the placement of the scars on me. I "wore" them for a day and decided I could live with it.
    5. It's your body, but it's his/her specialty. My surgeon was recommended by my RNY surgeon as the best in our area, and I couldn't agree more. I did a ton of research online about him, his practice, and the procedures I was considering. If there is anything about any procedure that I'm not completely happy with, he'll "fix" it without charge. I'd recommend that anyone else do the same.
    Hope this helps!

Your Nut allows you bread? Bread and sugar are the number one reasons I am over weight. Potato's and rice are the number 2 reason. Lack of exercise is the third reason. I refuse to so much as look at a carb. All I eat is chicken, fish, shrimp and on occasion pork. I ate a beef hamburger (meat only) and looked at the calories and I won't touch another one. I can however eat a lean turkey burger. I miss bread but not enough to gain back what I lost so far and not enough to stall me.
Try a few days without your carbs and see if that scale won't budge.

I just had my 8 week check up today and I return to work on Monday. My NUT said weight loss percentage was good and not to worry too much about the scale. She also said under t0 grams of carbs was too low. She also said over the next couple mo,the to increase calories to 1100. It's always a little scary but I will try. I went for fun today to try on clothing and I am down 2 sizes. It felt good to try on things I liked that for. I highly recommend it even if you don't buy anything. It does lift the spirits up!
