  3. Dating sucks, it's so much more of a hook up culture now and communication is non existent. I wish I would have had the surgery in my 20's because maybe I would have had a different outlook on dating. Being in a tourist city doesn't help either! Most of my friends are coupled up so going out I'm always the third wheel. Was hoping after surgery those days were over but here I am... anyway just a small rant but would love to meet some new friends in the area or close in the neighboring states!

I'm curious if there is anyone in the Boise area looking for something similar.

It's been hard explaining why WLS!

It's made me have to get creative on how to meet my main squeeze.

I'm 36 yrs old. Single mother of a 4 yr old. Love to go hiking, walking, biking, yard sales, fishing, avid camper, cook, cake artist, lover of life. I like to sing awful in my car, love naptimes, i like to fix things. Love animals. Huge crushes on Bald men. TMI. Ha!

    Hope to hear from you!

look no further! wait dang it I'm in Las Vegas... oh well. :-)

I don't know about the rest of you but we live in a world where finding love means swiping right and hoping for the best.

Hello I'm Stephanie, I'm 26 years old. I'm new to the site and would love to make some friends, text buddies, or pen pals.

So I'm what you would call Terminally Single, been that way for about 7 years now and I'm not sure it's ever going to change. It feels like the guys I'm into either A. don't want to be with a fat girl. B. are emotionally stunted, C. into weird fetishes (foodie/feeder I know I'm fat but that doesn't get my jollys off.) or D. Crazy, bat **** crazy.

Maybe I'm too picky, maybe I'm the crazy one, but I found it interesting to find this type of forum on this site. Color me intrigued!

I am so confused with dating now, seems like it's more of a hook up culture rather than those looking for a lasting relationship. Definitely difficult trying to find a serious relationship these days.

Hi I had gastric bypass in 1999. I’ve kept the weight off since but it’s difficult meeting men who understand what I went through. I’m at a time in my life where I would really like to meet someone special.

I like to date women who have had WLS, my previous relationship was with someone who had the sleeve as well. Was great having that in common and we could share meals and exercise together. I'm not secretive with my surgery, it's part of who I am and what I chose to help me live a healthy lifestyle.

My surgery was on 2/12. I have been taking time off from dating to focus on myself. I think it would be better to wait until I'm at least at my goal weight. I am concerned what kind of guys will be into me when I am skinny though. I haven't ever been small. The men who usually hit on me say they like curvy women... what if they don't like me when I am 148 lbs.

The right kind of man will cherish you for the woman you are! Being a guy and having the surgery that dated someone who also has had it was beneficial for the both of us. Cheap dates and a lot in common! since I'm single again I'm hoping to find another WLS person, just seems easier that way.

  8. @@Daveo not sure if your still on here but did you know that cats and dogs can actually get along. Once they get to know each other of course. All i hear is that your an animal lover. Thats always a good thing.

Yeah I found that out, I'm staying with my sister and her family and they decided to get a dog and for a couple of weeks it was a bunch of hissing lol but now they can care less about the dog.
