Clementine Sky's suggestions are good ones. I would also recommend the 5:2 plan. Just Google it and you will see. In a nutshell it's eating 500 calories or less 2 days a week. Not terribly hard because it's only 2 days and not consecutive.
I am 6 years out and have gained 10 lbs. I reached my goal weight after one year. I would love to go to a BACK ON TRACK retreat if anyone knows of something like that. I live in Europe but would be willing to travel.
    Good luck to us!

I find MyFitnessPal to be very helpful, because by being in the habit of writing down what you're consuming, you're making yourself more mindful about your choices. I don't follow a strictly low-carb diet because I find that it's too restrictive for me to sustain, but I do try to go for lower carb (under 100 grams a day), and by keeping track of what I'm eating, I can better stay within the range. There are other similar apps, but that's the one I use.
If you do a keyword search of VSG on Instagram or Pinterest you can find a lot of posts, and many are meal plans or pictures of meals. I've gathered a lot of ideas and inspiration there. On YouTube there's also recipes, grocery hauls, and other videos of that sort by people who've had the VSG and are showing what works for them.

I have regained most of my weight. I need some guidance and support from others. I was doing so good then I forgot I even had a sleeve. Help me remember what I should be doing to lose the weight. I was working so much but I have stopped that and want to focus on me again.

I have been stuck at 142.6 for almost 2 weeks now. I need to start exercising but with 2 jobs its hard. I have been cheating everynight with a bowl of layes chips. Now i know they dont bother my sleeve so i can eat them and i do. I think exercise is the key for me at thus time. I will let you all know how that goes.

They told us just no large chunky yogurts, tiny pieces were ok.

Maybe she didn't realize it had a little pineapple in it. Feeling better now. I just have a great imagination of a tiny piece of pineapple clinging to a staple and causing an issue.

This is awesome @@rln52! Keep it up. I really do think that this 1st year is the most important one, that's when we should learn new eating habits and see what works best for us.

I been cleaning my closet monthly, in the past I always saved it and that's how I ended up getting in trouble again cause I would gain some weight and I would get the big clothes out. I'm hoping this time as soon as I see some change on how my clothes fit that I will take control of any weight gain.

Its getting harder now because i know i can eat anything without the fear of not being able to tolerate the food. My hair is still falling out but maybe not as much and i had so much of it that it didn't affect the way it looks - just feels lighter. Having hard time stopping myself to not wear my old 2× 3× clothes. The 1x still feels good but its probably too big. I bought a medium blouse and 12P pant this week and they fit nice. I need to clean out my closet. I am afraid to get rid of it last time i lost weight i gave it all away and then gained it all back. Then today i was thinking i could give it to coworkers and everytime i saw the clothes on them i could remember wow I use to be that size and stay true to my new food choices.

@@rln52 happy to hear from you. You are doing great! I'm about 182 right know. I feel like the 180's have been the hardest pounds to lose. For me the nuts are still my weakness.

I eat prunes 2 per day. Yogurt and Protein Shake seems to help with Constipation. I asked my doctor about prunes and he said yeah. Agree this is a pain and probably the worse problem to date. So really not that bad if i plan my attack well. Lol

I am at size 14 skinny jeans too!! We are awesome! The ladies at work are super excited over my weight loss always commenting on how good i look. They dont know about surgery. I still think that yes surgery definitely helped me alot but it has taken effort and dedication to stay on my diet plan. Because I have eaten a few fritos and 1 cherry cupcake pie so I know I can eat those things without getting sick but I can't eat them all the time. Now I notice how so many women are overweight its more common than being thin. Young and old I guess before I never really noticed. I wish I had done this surgery when I was younger but I guess I wasn't ready until now.

Looking great Rdsegobia. That's a pretty blouse. I find myself buying brighter colors now. Love wearing fun clothes. Sometimes it takes me more time than before to pick out what I am going to wear now that there are so many choices. Even wearing jewelry too. I love it!

I make my own parmesan crisps. I use 1 bag of finely grated parmesan cheese with 1 Tbsp of flour and mix in rosemary or other dried herbs. Put them in less than teaspoon size mounts on a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake at 400 degrees for 7 mins. They are good. I am going to try baking them with out flour just to see what happens.
