    Best Grocery Store Finds!

Oh and I love these new yogurt dressings by Bolthouse! I just found them and they are great. I have been using them baked with cheese on top of chicken for a great low-carb dinner option (3g). I am really fond of the Salsa Verde Avocado. YUM! http://www.bolthouse.com

    Girl Scout Cookies

Making it through GS cookie "season" has been my big NSV for this week! I threatened my hubby with bodily harm if he brought them in the house. He was stashing them at his BFF's (if guys have that sort of thing....) but then his friend said that he was eating way to much of them and gave some of them away. I think my hubby did sneak a few boxes of Thin Mints in the house but he hid them well and didn't tell me. I love him for the willingness to help me stay on track. Just glad it is almost over....
  4. I wasn't sure if we need to log it in this week or not.... I got 4.6 hours last week. Oh, and week before was 4.3 hours. BTW, Congrats @@Rebeccaabrooks86 on hitting ONEderland. !!!!

    Best Grocery Store Finds!

I have been craving some crunch lately, but working hard to stay low carb. (really, really, hard!) Yesterday I found San Franola. While not totally low carb, and you have to watch the calories, it is an option if you really want granola. It taste pretty good too. I went with cinnamon almond. http://www.sanfranolagranola.com/.

    Friday NSV Thread

My NSV is that I just saw a posting on my Facebook reminding everyone that this is the last weekend for GirlScout cookie sales. That means I have made it ALL the way through GS cookie season without buying or even having one! Wow!
  8. Just be careful to get your fluids in! Hope you feel better.

    Pizza

Wonton wrappers with a little sauce, cheese and ground turkey pepperoni will give you the feeling of pizza without all the carbs. just a suggestion....
  11. Way to go. Looks like you hit the 3 week stall. but you seem to be taking it in stride. Also, congrats on the tracking! That has been a key to my success. The surgery is a fantastic tool, but the exercise and using MFP EVERYDAY, that is ALL YOU! Get into the good habits now and it will make succeeding in the long run so much easier.
  12. I am glad you are going to go. I went to Mexico City on a business trip at just under 4 weeks out. It went fine, no one even knew I had the surgery. hahah. However, I will say I had no nausea almost from day one which made it easier I think. That is a hard one to judge before you actually have the surgery. The hotel had plenty of options (as should anywhere you go in Hawaii) for soft foods. I made sure I ate Breakfast (scrambled eggs, yogurt) and put a greek extra Protein yogurt in my room for later. There is always soup options everywhere. One thing to remember, on long flights you NEED to stay hydrated! Take extra Water with you and set a reminder to drink it. Hydrate all you can while you are there too. Have a great trip.
  13. Oh yes, just be careful it isn't too tight at first. I highly recommend it. That was the only way I could make it through the day at work for several weeks after surgery. Also really helped getting up and down out of bed.
  14. Hey Rebecca You know me, I am in. So glad you are doing this so I can keep participating. Goal is to do 4.5 hours/week.
  15. LOL, Ok, I wouldn't normally do this, but I want to update my number on the thread. I made my goal 1 day past the last check in day yesterday. 1 DAY! Hahaha.... My goal was 163. I was 162.8 this morning. Sarah, you don't have to change the spreadsheet. I just wanted to write it down somewhere. After all the struggles I had with stalls these last few weeks to see the drop happen 1 day past the check-in deadline just made me roll my eyes. On to the next challenge!

    EXERCISE CHALLENGE ROUND 2!

I got 4 hours in this week. ????
  17. 163.2. Soooo close to goal. ????
  18. Go slow, I know there is a real feeling of seeing what you can tolerate early. I know everyone's plan is different, and that some people tolerate things better than others. However, you only get one chance to heal right. No reason to rush it and even chance that something may not go right. If your not supposed to be on soft foods yet, don't test it... Stick with the basics and the first few weeks of restrictions will be past. My other suggestion was to maybe try some yogurts.
  19. I take a multi (bariatric specific that has B12) and I also take extra Iron and D3. I find that without it I start to bruise easily, but that is me.
  20. Haha. Yup, I went from a 10 to a 9. I found out I no longer fit in my current shoes when I kept walking out of them in Chicago on a business trip. Down town Chicago is no fun when you can't walk ten feet without your shoes falling off. ???? needless to say I went shopping when I got home.
