    Not losing anything? ?

I have been gaining also! I have gained 3kg since last week and I dunno why as I am not going over 1,000kcals a day sometimes no where near but someone has said bout carbs to cut them back out and see what happens I hear you, it sucks so bad to see a gain! but if you search 3 week stall from this site, there is so much advice already on here about it and after 4 days of moping, i feel so much better! the experts know what they are talking about! we'll see the scale moving soon just keep at it

    Not losing anything? ?

I've read about the 3 week stall but nothing about the 3 week gain :/...sorry to hi-jack UR post OP, but im genuinely concerned about what I could be doing wrong or what I can change. I have gained 5lbs after losing 23lbs...I follow my diet religiously, low carb, only eating two table spoons of food...I barely hit 500 cals. Should I be eating more? My plan says 500 cals so that's what I've been doing. I'm still working up to hitting protein and water goals I get about half of protein 35g and about 50 ounces of water per day. I went from losing near a pound a day to gaining 5lbs in one day. BM are good,..what can I do differently yall? I don't want to fail at this.

What are your favorite Quest Nutrition products?

Thanks for your opinion! I'm post surgery, can't have them until reg diet but I like to do my research beforehand. I totally understand your reasoning for not wanting them and I'm glad you are doing what's best for you. I think the chips are an awesome way to switch things up a bit and they can be an easy 21g of protein at lunch for someone that struggles to hit numbers like me

I'm pretty sure it's the regular diet stage. I could be wrong though maybe ask your NUT just to clarify
  14. Congrats on your weight loss! Coconut oil, organic and unrefined, (usually the refined one is put under extra heat which kills off the benefits) the best thing you can do for dry skin is make sure whatever moisturizer you are using doesn't contain alcohol as it is naturally drying, you want as few ingredients as possible when it comes to your face. The skin on our face is different then the skin on our arms and legs etc, it's much more delicate. At night have UR basic moisturizer and apply it heavily before going to sleep, make sure you massage your face as you apply gently, this helps with circulation. buying super expensive creams with all these claims aren't necessary, any benefits you have from them will usually cease to show once you discontinue use of the product. When you wake up in the morning, Always make sure you have a cream/moisturizer with atleast 15 SPF, anything more is a bonus but extra sunscreen can sometimes cause an oily appearance. Morning creams are more crucial because of the sunscreen. If you wear foundation with 15 SPF it should cover you if it is applied all over face and neck. You can also take Vitamin A, it helps with free radicals and aging! Best thing you can do for your face is making a habit of using sunscreen, staying hydrated, and getting good sleep everyday! Okay I'm done lol best of luck!

    Frustrated

I feel for you! I have been recovering With my two kids, a 3 month old and a 4 year old. I fortunately have a super high pain tolerance and hate pain meds so I cut Them out the second day. I had morphine in the hospital and It was the worst, I mean sure my pain was gone but I couldn't sleep, couldn't breathe, but I am very sensitive to medicine so my case is most likely not the usual. When I told My doc I couldn't take the codeine he prescribed he said I could take Tylenol extra strength 500mg every six hours. The first few days I was getting off the pain meds and all I did was count the hours until my husband came home so I could sleep, the night time feedings were the worst, I was walking around like quasi Modo lol, but by day 4 I was back to my normal self. Hang in there girl, if anything you aren't alone and I feel your pain, it will get better. Call your doc, hope he can do something!
