  1. Fairlife milk is high in protein and low in carbs. Also Greek yogurt is a good protein.

    Mobile, Al?

I’m in Mobile! Did you have your surgery here? I’m looking to do it in Mobile.
  3. @@Beautyandbeyond, Have you noticed any improvement in your hidradenitis suppurativa post-op? I have it and want to get a sleeve, but am nervous I'll have one when I go to get the surgery and it will prevent me from doing so. Anyone out there had this happen? Thanks!
  4. @@bluesclues Thanks for the reply :-D Do you wear a pump? If so, can I ask for more details about that and if you wore it during surgery? Also, were you charged more being higher risk with Dr. Corvala? Thanks in advance!
  5. Hi there! Thanks to all of you who have posted on this topic. It has been a huge help to me. I presented with type 1 diabetes as an adult and have ballooned since beginning insulin therapy about 3 years ago. My relationship to food has changed drastically and it just feels like a nuisance. I'd love to have less of a "need" to eat and am seriously considering the gastric sleeve. I can't afford one in the US and my insurance doesn't cover any WLS for anyone, so I have been looking at Mexico. Anyone on here Type 1 and had surgery in Mexico? Best wishes and success to all of you!
