I've been walking on my lunch break with a much younger and fitter friend instead of sitting on my tuckus. It's kicking my butt to keep up with her.

It has rained here in Georgia for a whole week - pouring, flooding, wet wet wet. I am feeling a bit depressed with no energy. Though I am not really physically hungry I am thinking obsessively about food and wish i could just pig-out on some fried chicken. Food tastes different to me now and sometimes I actually forget that I had this surgery until I really start to eat my now uninteresting diet. Just feeling sorry for myself a bit today and wanting to hear from others. This too shall pass I am sure.

Big interview tomorrow, down 81 pounds since I started interviews - I wonder how big of a difference that alone will make?

I bought a pair of pants with a size that starts in a '1' for the first time in more than a decade!

Yeah, I think I am headed into a fun Spring/Summer fashion season. The smaller my clothes get, the louder they get!

7 weeks post op - Down 40 lb from surgery, 75 lb total in the 10 weeks since starting pre-op diet

57 pounds down, 22 since surgery at 22 days post-op. If only it kept up at this pace.

Day after tomorrow I will be in operating room. Scared but as ready as I know how to be. Getting all my stuff in order. Feel like I am about to jump out of an airplane or step off high dive for first time. My fears are real but manageable. Need support.

Waiting for phone to ring with surgery date. Should I go out and eat at all my favorite places as a last hooray or begin cutting back?
